Today is one of my best friend's, Taylor's 23rd birthday and to celebrate, I threw her a surprise party, shopping spree, and spa day. She loved it! Throwing her this epic party made me reflect on my own 22 years of life. Every November 5th, my birthday would roll around, but I never have had a really big party, nor a big gift. I didn't need it to be happy, but I did always wish for that opportunity. My best birthday will still always be my 13th, when my mother saved up and bought me my first camera. It might not be expensive to everyone, but it was for my single mom who had to provide for my family, working overtime and night shift after night shift. That camera is why I love taking photos.
