Third Persons Pov.

Bella stood in her spot, gawking over the twenty-one-year-old girl in front of her. She tried to form a sentence, but it was like she had the vocabulary knocked out of her when their eyes met.

Y/n stood in her place and admired the girl from where she was standing. Y/n didn't know what it was, but something about Isabella caught her attention, and she couldn't pinpoint what it was.

Usually, she would never care about someone her parents introduced her to, but this girl... this girl was something else entirely. Y/n met the eyes of the brunette once again and saw the nervousness it held and smirked slightly.

Ana stood back and watched the interaction between the two and laughed to herself. She couldn't be more amused with how love-struck she was. Isabella looked at her while Y/n had a small smirk playing on her lips.

She was definitely her father's daughter.

Y/n: "Hello, I'm Y/n Grey." Y/n held her hand out to the brunette, who gulped and adjusted the files in her hand.

Isabella: "Isabella, but you can call me Bella." Isabella is too formal, " She rambled, mentally scolding herself at how nervous she sounded.

On your first day on the job, you're already embarrassing yourself.

Bella Hadid was well known, and that was all thanks to her family. Her parents were very successful, and even her siblings were always out in the world doing big things and making big moves, and she was the complete opposite.

There were times when she wished she was just as outgoing as her family members, but she also loved how comfortable and safe her bubble was. She never had much experience when it came to relationships, so she just sat back and observed the relationships her friends and family had.

It was something she wished to experience, but she felt like it all might be too much.

No relationships for now. Just focus on herself and build her career.

That was her goal.

Bella decided that she would pursue the one thing she was sure about in her life, and that was books. She writes, reads, edits, and, hopefully, owns her own publishing company. The job at SIP opened up at the perfect time for her, because who wouldn't want to work at the top-ranking publishing company in Seattle?

She also got to work with Anastasia Grey, who made a name for herself by editing and getting the best writers in the city to become New York's best sellers. Not to mention that she became a well-established author of her books.

It was about her marriage, which had a lot of... flavour, but it was a book you couldn't put down. All of Anastasia's books were like that for Bella.

Bella: "Ms Grey, once again, I'm so sorry." Bella apologised, looking at her future boss.

Anastasia: "Don't worry, Isabella, I understand." She smiled, reassuring the girl. "I'm glad you met my daughter. I value her opinion a lot when it comes to my work." Bella switched her gaze to the grey-eyed girl.

Bella: "I-uh-yes. It is a pleasure to meet you, Ms Grey." Y/n eyed her and hummed.

Y/n: "The pleasure is all mine, Ms Hadid." Y/n smiled shortly, making the brunette blush and look down at her shoes.

Anastasia stared at the two, amused, and leaned against her desk, switching her gaze between the two, watching how they both stared at each other without talking or blinking.
