Hi everyone. I'm so sorry for not updating, my gran passed away a week ago and I'm still trying to deal with it all. I hope you understand 😊.

Y/n Pov.

Abel: "Y/n," he called as we walked back to my car. "Do you, you know, like Bella?" He inquired.

Y/n: "Why are you asking me that?" I unlocked my car and stared at him. He gave me a "really" look and laughed.

Abel: "You spent the entire evening talking to her, and you even smiled! You don't smile for anyone these days!" I rolled my eyes at how dramatic he was acting.

Y/n: "Don't be ridiculous," I said, getting into the car, making him do the same.

Abel: "I'm right, and you know it! You even gave her your blazer, and you don't do that because you believe people should have the right mind to carry a jacket when it's always cold here." I sighed, starting the car, "You looked so comfortable with her and you haven't been that way for a while, not since the incident." He spoke, mumbling the last part.

He wasn't wrong.

Y/n: "I don't even know why I'm so comfortable around her. All I know is that there is something about her and I want to find out more." I answered, hoping he wouldn't get all happy about it.

Abel: "So you do like her?" He teased.

Y/n: "I'm interested in her. That doesn't mean I like her," I grumbled, making him laugh in his seat.

Abel: "Whatever makes you sleep at night, kid." I shook my head and drove to his apartment.

I dropped Abel off and drove back to my place to see a familiar parked in the driveway.

I got out and locked my car, walking to my house. I opened the door and closed it, dropping my keys on the small table near the door.

Anastasia: "Y/n, you're home." She smiled, causing my father to turn around and match her smile. He opened his arms wide, making me hug him and smile.

Christian: "It's good to see you, kid." "He said, pulling away from the hug." I relaxed my tense form and hummed.

Y/n: "It's good to see you too, dad. We missed having you at home," I took a seat on the stool in the kitchen and looked around the house. "Where's Noah?" I asked, noticing that the house was too quiet.

Anastasia: "He is staying over at Joshua's house. They're making homemade pizza tonight, and apparently, his little heart could not resist it.” We laughed and shook our heads.

I have a younger sibling, Noah. He is ten years old, and you can't help but love the little guy to bits. He is my built-in best friend.

Y/n: "It's insane how much he loves pizza. I'm yet to meet someone whose obsession matches his," my parents laughed.

Christian: "If you think about it, he loves food in general, which is odd because your mother and I aren't foodies." I shrugged.

Y/n: "I like food. Maybe we got it from Elliot." I saw my father roll his eyes and sigh.

Anastasia: "Maybe. Y/n, why don't you tell your father about your meeting?" She chuckled, hearing him click his fingers.

Christian: "Yes, how was the meeting?" I huffed.

Y/n: "It was boring. Mr Smith and his boring son have no vision and it bugs me!" I exclaimed, causing them both to laugh. “I'm serious! The way they want their business to go forward isn't rational." I sighed.

Christian: "Go on..." He said, encouraging me to continue my rant.

Y/n: "They're missing the big picture. I understand your reasons for wanting your business to stay the way it is because you want it to somewhat stand out from other businesses and the way they approach things, but not allowing your company to be technologically advanced will be your downfall." I spoke frustrated thinking about that meeting, "We also run a computer company along with many other things involving technology, and I'm sorry, but you can't make a deal with a company that is taking technology to the next level themselves. I see no sense in their presentation," He smiled at me, causing my mother to shake her head.
