"What's that?" Asked a person from school.
"A scratch." The broken girl replied, pulling her sleeve down further.
"How'd you get it?"
"The cat."
---
Weeks passed, and the girl became more and more broken. She fell deeper in love with being thin. She became obsessed with seeing blood run down her arm.
For all she cared, she was finally perfect.
Anytime Ana would yell at her for eating, Mia would help her. Anytime Mia would get mad at her for not throwing up a meal, Cat would save her.
Cat was always there for her. Even when the girls family wasn't.
The closer the girl became with Cat, the more Cat became a bigger part of her life.
One day, Cat told the girl to not call her 'Cat' anymore. She told her to call her Sue.
The girl questioned as to why she changed her name.
Sue simply answered by saying that Sue had different intensions for the girl. Sue wanted her to go with her. Somewhere far.
Somewhere no one would call her fat. Somewhere no one would make her eat. Somewhere no one could hurt her.
The girl didn't understand. Where could that be? Where could Sue want to take her?
During class one day, a teacher kept the girl after school.
"Are you okay?" She asked. The girl didn't understand as to why she would ask that. Of course she was okay. Nothing was wrong with her.
"I'm fine."
"I'm concerned about you," The teacher explained, "I want you to see the school therapist, okay?"
The girl couldn't comprehend what was wrong. She simply agreed with the teacher, and left the class.
"Why does the teacher want me to see a therapist?" She asked Sue out loud.
"Because she doesn't want you to be perfect, Darling." Sue cooed, walking beside the girl.
"Why not?"
"Because she doesn't care about you. No one does. No one except Cat, Mia and I."
