"Why did you tell him?!" Sue yelled at the girl.
"I- I'm sorry," The girl whimpered, cowering in her bed, "he just asked me."
"I DON'T CARE!" Sue yelled, coming closer to the girl, "He gave you pills, didn't he?"
The sobbing girl, slowly lifted her head, and nodded.
"Don't. You. Dare. Take. Them." Sue threatened.
The girls bottom lip quivered, as she tucked her head back between her knees.
A few moments passed in silence, until Sue spoke again.
"I want you to use that." Sue grumbled, walking closer to the girl.
The girl looked up, and saw Sue pointing down at a nearby pillow.
The girl was simply confused. Why was Sue pointing at the pillow?
"Underneath the pillow." Sue clears up, reading the girls mind.
The girl slowly picked up the pillow, and her eyes widened at what she saw.
A gun.
Her fathers gun.
"Use it." Sue ordered.
"No," The girl cried, shaking her head, "I- I can't."
A smile tugged at Sue's lips, and without thinking, the girls hand reached for the gun.
It was as if Sue was controlling the girl.
The girl began shaking uncontrollably out of fear.
"Please- don't. Please." The girl whimpered, now knowing Sues intentions.
The girls fingers traced to the front of the gun, and turned off the safety, causing the girl to start crying.
"Please! I'll be perfect! I promise!" The girl cried.
As the girls hand brought the gun up to her head, she let out a scream, hoping someone could help her.
Someone. Anyone.
But no one heard her. Her parents were out on a dinner date, and her brother and sister were out with friends.
No one would save her.
"P-please! I'm sorry!! Mia! Ana! Help!" The girl shouted, the cold end of the gun placed against her temples.
"We wanted perfection, and you weren't even close." Ana chuckled from across the room.
"But I will be! I promise!" The girl sobbed, "Just please help me!"
Ana just shook her head at the girl, and disappeared.
The girl shook in fear, and sobbed, pleading Sue to let her live.
In that moment, everything the girl ever did was useless. Every test she passed. Every boy she tried to impress. Every time she looked twice before crossing the street.
In that moment, anytime her parents yelled at her didn't matter. Or anytime her sister said she hated her.
It didn't matter that she failed a history test, or that she wasn't the fastest in PE.
Because in that moment;
She shot herself.
