A big sorry for not updating .I really couldnt find time .

So here goes the epilogue of this story

After 1 year

As Neil was busy reading his file before going to the police station ,Shweta called him downstairs to have breakfast .

Main aa rahi hoon ,mom.

But before going downstairs he went to his room to see whether Avni was ready or not .After all she was supposed to be ready by this time as she had to attend the final hearing of the murder case that she appeared for a few months back.

As soon as he entered the room ,Neil stood in the doorstep seeing his wife in the lawyers suit ,dressed elegantly with her hair tied in a neat ponytail and face glowing with pride.

Neil kya hua,am I not looking fine ,she asked tensed seeing him staring at her.

You are looking perfect wifey ,he said while adjusting her collar in a more perfect way and kissed her forehead in happiness.

U sure na ,she asked again not feeling confident enough about her appearance .

Haa,my love ,main tumse kyun jhoot bolunga ,bharosa nahi hai mujhpar.

Aisi baat nahi hai Neil ,I was thinking that I was looking horrible .

Nahi ,u are looking elegant,,,hmm and see how much good a pair we make ,police officer and lawyer ,acccha hain na.

Avni smiled while Neil was feeling extremely proud of his wifey.

Ab chalo wifey ,let's have our breakfast before it gets too late ,even I need to come with you to the court ,na.

Tillu,Avni kaha ho tum dono Shweta called from downstairs thus pausing their conversation.

Aa rahi hoon mummy ji ,it was Avni's turn to answer , while Neil held her hands and slowly moved out of the room while Avni accompanied him ,holding onto his hand more tighlty while Neil managed to assure her that everything will be fine , through his eyes.

The breakfast went smoothly with lot of talking .Neil was confident enough that Avni would do her job very well , while Avni's left  hand seemed to be fiddling with the end of her coat as she ate her breakfast ,something which she always does when she is nervous .

Avni ,bachha why are you not eating  bebe asked and that is when Neil noticed her not eating .

Avni don't be tensed,everything will be fine ,main hoon na tumhare  saath ,  he assured her by holding her hand .
