It is the last day of school and on this very day is the Grade 5 and 8 graduation.

On every year, on the last day of school; our school let us have a party, except for the grade that is graduating.

Ava and I were selected to have the Superintendent's Award so we have to be the Valedictorians. Although, we have to keep is secret. Don't ask why. Why? I don't know. So whenever it's recess time, we have to run away from the other girls, not explaining them why, and hide to write the speech.

Of course we finished the speech on the day before the graduation and we were relieved.

The Grade 5 and 8 are re-rehearsing for the day of the graduation in the gym.

"Alright, line up in alphabetical order!" Instructs the principal.

We line up and our teacher, Ms./Mr. Constipated fishbird, halves us up so we can have a pair while walking down the aisle on the graduation; my partner is Bob. . . Ugh, I hate him now. . .

Cassandra and her cousin (which is her partner) are first; Bob and I are the second one.

<<On the time of the graduation>>

Everyone comes in their beautiful attire. The girls are wearing dresses while the guys are wearing tuxes. I am wearing a peach dress, which is newly bought, with pink flats. I also curled my hair.

We wait outside of the ballroom, talking and some of us being bored.

When it was time to graduate, the principal instructs us to line up with our pairs.

I hear graduation music coming from inside the ballroom.

All of us are outside the door waiting for the principal to tell us when to come in.

After a while, Cassandra and her cousin are walking down the long aisle with everyone taking pictures and videoing.

It's our turn and Bob is walking a bit fast.

"Slow down." I whisper.

He slows down following my pace. I am smiling at everyone because they are videoing or picturing and I want to make a good impression.

We reach the end of the aisle and Bob and I part our ways to go to our seats.

<<After the graduation>>

We all exit the room and when we know the it's a safe time to yell, we all yell:" WE GRADUATED!!!"

Cassandra comes up to the girls and I. "Hey guys. . . We are grade 6 and they are grade 9." The girls laugh while I am thinking and then it hit me: 69!!!

There is this place to where all the class can take a photo and we did!!! It's a nice day and now I'm in grade 6.

I would never forget my time in grade 5 (except for the bad parts). This year has been a blast, but now I'm sure that nobody likes being friends with me except George, Wendy and 2 more girls in school. But, let's hope that my friends will accept me for who I am.
