We walk up the steps and into the bus, instantly smelling alcohol. I could see charlie chilling on a couch in the bus. He makes eye contact with me and then glances down and up my body, returing his eyes to mine. I smiled, so did he.

" CHARLIEEEE YOU FRICKING KILLED IT MAN" Mark yelled.

Mark spent most of the concert eyeing Bri or talking to me, so I don't really know how he would know if he killed it or not but i just laughed at how he yelled and kept that to myself.

The two boys laughed and bro hugged as I watched Bri basically freeze in place because of how starstruck she was.

"so you brought company huh," he says glancing at Bri and then me, taking a longer time to look away with me.

"well aren't you gonna introduce me mark?" he chuckled, but you could tell he was serious.

"oh yeah this is y/n and Bri. We just started talking and Bri is a big fan, so I thought I would bring them back."

Bri hadn't moved since she saw Charlie.

"ahaha nice to meet you Bri. I love meeting fans."

Bri was still practically frozen but she smiled and mumbled some things about how much she loved him. I couldn't tell you what she said, not because she wasn't understandable, but because I was spending the whole time she was talking looking at Charlie, infatuated.

When they were finished talking he looked back at me, "Y/n, right?" I nodded.

"that's a really beautiful name y/n." he looked me dead in the eyes as he said it.

"thanks, yours isn't too bad yourself." I smiled and watched him smile back and look down, running his hand up the back of his neck before looking up at me, still smiling except for with his teeth biting down on his lip now.

my heart picked up its pace.

"hey mark would you mind running to the back to get some waters?", Charlie glanced at mark, and mark smiled and nodded, then looked back to me and raised his eyebrows.

Mark grabbed Bri's hand and lead her to the back. I watched the door shut behind them and I knew that they wouldn't be coming back with water.

Charlie moved closer to me and then grabbed my waist. He smiled to himself as he looked me up and down.

"so you're a fan, huh?", he spoke softly.

It sent chills down my spine. I could feel the vibration of every syllable he spoke in my bones.

But I didn't want to do this.

I put my hand over his on my waist and gently lifted it off, straight faced as our eyes met once again. He got the message, I think he was almost embarassed

"yeah, I am. But I just don't really do casual hook ups, sorry, even if you are the  Charlie Puth. I didn't mean to come off like that."

The words gently slipped past my lips and into his ears. His right hand was on the back of his neck again, I think he felt bad for assuming what he did.

"S-sorry, I'm not usually like that you're just really..." he trailed off as he looked at me again.

"It's okay, no worries really", I laughed, trying to make him feel better, "You probably have dozens of beautiful girls begging to be near you most of the time anyways, so it's probably just normal for you."

He laughed a little to himself, but then he met my eyes again.

"I am really sorry, for what it's worth."

An awkward silence filled the room as we were left without anything to do but stand there.

"Hey, it doesn't look like Mark and Bri are coming out with those waters anytime soon, so do you just wanna hang out for a little bit? I guess they really hit it off so we can just forget what happened before."

He seemed really genuine. I could see that spark in his eyes, that glimmer that made me believe he was really sorry and he just wanted to fix it.

"yeah, I'd really like that."
