"Hey, get up!" Another woman's voice wakes Beca the next day.

The brunette groans slowly sitting up. A tall blond was standing in front of Beca now. Chloe stands up scrunching her face slightly, scratching herself.

"Ugh, itchy!" She calls out.

"Well you slept in a barn, ginger snap. Lucky you don't have any spiders in your hair." The blonde says amused as she looks at Chloe who was still scratching herself as Beca slowly got up.

"Any what?!" She squeals putting her hands on her head to check it for spiders.

"But I bet your girlfriend scared them all away with her earspikes." She chuckled lightly while eyeing Beca more.

"I'm not her girlfriend. Name's Beca." She corrected the woman while getting a bit of hay out of her hair.

"I'm Aubrey." The blonde says with a soft smile.

"Mom! We're gonna build a fence! There's a tractor and everything!" A little boy interrupted, peaking his head into the barn before running off again.

"We better get going or we won't hear the end of it." Aubrey says turning her head, which was turned to face her son, back to Beca and Chloe.

They all walk out of the barn.

"That's my boy, Kenny Jr. We call him Duck, though." She then tells them as they make their way to the tractor.

"Duck?" Chloe asks throwing Aubrey a confused look.

"Yeah, nothing bothers him. Like water off a duck's back."

"That's a valuable trait lately." Chloe says with a smile.

"No kidding." Beca comments, not much of a talker before 10 am.

"But frankly, I think it's because he's dumb as a bag of hammers." Aubrey just says plainly.

"MOOOOM!" They heard Duck yell from the farm house.

"But he makes up for it with a lot of enthusiasm." The blond continues.

They reached the farm house where another woman was now talking to Duck.

"The word is you were on your way to Macon." The tall blond says stopping next to Duck and the other woman.

"My family is from there."

"Well Macons on the way and, personally, I'd appreciate the company of someone who can knock a couple heads together if she has to." Aubrey says giving Beca a soft smile.

Beca looks over at Chloe for a split second, before looking back at Aubrey.

"Maybe, we'll see how things go with this Herschel guy." She then says carefully, not wanting to make a wrong call.

"Ha, good luck with that. He's a hard ass." Aubrey says clearly amused as she rolls her eyes.

She then turns to the woman who's been playing with Duck.

"Honey, Duck, this is Beca and uh... what's the ginger snaps name?"

"It's Chloe." The redhead answers, waving at Duck and the woman who were now looking at them.

"That's a very pretty name." The tall woman says and stands up from where she was sitting.

"Thanks!" Chloe says, smiling like always.

Shawn then walks up to the group.

"We should get to work. We've all seen what those things can do out there so the faster we get this fence up, the better." He says and motions over to the fence on the other side of the farm.
