BRINGING HIS BIKE  to set was finn wolfhard's worst decision. during the long day of shooting stranger things, the cast had forced finn to ride his bike to the nearest coffee shop and get some drinks. and as he was riding along the streets of atlanta, georgia he spotted a small diner named "poppy's". the retro 90's look of it basically pulling him into the diner, he took a booth and waited for a waiter. he admired the small diner, covered with pink walls and neon signs, it felt like straight from an 90's film.

"welcome to poppy's, what can i get you today?" the oh so angelic like voice cut finn out of his trance. he looked up to see a tall figure, pretty, he first thought. he stood to admire her blue eyes, curly blonde hair and small freckles for a second
"uhh, you still there?"
"yeah sorry, uhm. can i get five iced coffee's, three regular ones and an orange juice to go, please."
"got lots of friends, huh?"
"you could say so, i guess"
"okay then, your five iced coffee's, three regular coffee's and orange juice are coming right up" the girl said, writing down the last few words on her notebook, flashing a quick smile and returning back into the kitchen.

~~~~~~~~
after scrolling through his social media, and many texts from his castmates telling him to hurry up, the waitress came back with the large amount of drinks.
"here you go, and here's the check"
after paying, the curly haired boy really had no other reason to stay in the diner, but for some reason he didn't want to leave. having grown an odd liking to the girl he yet to find out the name of, even though they had only talked twice.
"do you guys serve pancakes?"
"you missed them, we only serve them till noon"
"guess i'll have to come back in the morning and try them" he gave her a small smile wich she kindly returned.
finn really didn't want to leave the pretty girl, as if he fell in love in first sight.
"i hope you don't mind me asking, what's your name?"
the girl heard the raspy voice from the other booth, and stopped cleaning the table, looking straight at him, she felt shocked that just a random customer would want to continue the converesation.
"oh, it's nora" the girl, nora, felt her cheeks becoming pink as she gave another soft smile.
"well that's a very pretty name, im finn" he stood up and lifted his hand to shake hers.
"well, finn. i'd love to continue this converesation but, im pretty sure you have some drinks to deliver and i have to go back to work"
"well okay, guess i'll just have to come back tomorrow for those pancakes" he smiled once again, his face started to hurt from the amount of times he smiled but he couldn't stop it. he nodded his head, picked up the drinks he almost forgot about, and turned to walk out the door.
the girl stood there for another minute, looking at the door the boy had just walked out of, before she was snapped out of her trance by a familiar voice.
"nora, come help make the drinks!"
she shrugged the feeling the stranger gave her and wen't back to help in the kitchen.
