SWEET LIKE CANDY

•The Article that might save the Town•

Jughead and Aviana stared at the 'investigation wall' they had made that they were using to write an article about Hiram Lodge.

The door opened and in walked their father in his pops uniform,
"What's all this?,"
"Hopefully it's the article that saves the town," replies Jughead.
"If we can fit the pieces together," continues Aviana
"You guys need to drop this, He rescued us.He bought the trailer park.Forgave our debts,"
"What? He's the reason we almost lost the trailer park," Jughead said in confusion
Her father looked towards her for support, "don't look at me I've just helping Jughead, it's Twin loyalty," she smirked.
"Hirams slicker than a bottle of snake oil," she continued.
"Dad, please," tiredly replied Jughead "Hiram Lodge just bought the Riverdale Register,"
"What?" Said Aviana raising her voice
"He's trying to silence dissenting voices before he makes his big play,"
"He's afraid dad, afraid of exposure," said Aviana.

Aviana stood by her locker, pulling books out that she needed when some one pulled her waist and turned her around.She soon realised it was Sweet Pea and she smiled sweetly and pulled him in for a kiss.

"So how are you?" Sweet Pea Asked.
"I'm busy, Sweets, I've got lots of homework to do," she smiled.
"But wouldn't you prefer to spend time with me?" He whimpered.
"I would but I have to go babe," Aviana pulled away from Sweet Pea, closing her locker door and skipping off, turning around to smirk at her boyfriend.

"Hiram's going to beat the clock, it's feels like every move I make, He's two or 10 steps ahead of us.He's lapping me," said Jughead while his Father and sister sat next to him on the couch.

"Hiram Lodge has been winning at this game at lot longer than you've been alive," replied FP.
"Because he's been rigging the game.Everyones afraid to speak against him," complained Aviana.

"You know, Uh, there's one person you haven't asked  to go on record yet," said FP
"Who?," Asked Jughead
"Me,Back in the day, Hiram asked me and the serpents to crash the drive in so he could buy it for rock bottom price. We complied."
"On purpose," Asked Aviana.
"You worked for Hiram Lodge?" Asked Jughead, the Twins looked at him in disbelief.
"I'll own up to that, on the record, if it will help bring him down," offered FP
Phone began to ring and he soon left which left Aviana and her father alone.
"We don't think of you any less dad just because you worked for Hiram Lodge,"
"Thanks kiddo, I can always count on you," he smiled.
Aviana leant on her dads shoulder and though how lucky she was to have her dad back forever.

This one was very short because there wasn't a lot of serpent stuff in 2x15 but next episode is filled 😄
