Chapter 5 : Confusion

As soon as they are done eating, Anabelle has a blank face. Why can't we use our powers? Anabelle thought. As Jessal looked around the house, Blake's phone rang. "What's that sound?" Magenta asked. "It's weird, where did that sound come from? Strange." Terra Replied. "Here, this is where the sound came from." Blake told the girls. As blake answered his phone, the girls stay in silent, listening to Blake's conversation to someone on the phone. "Hello!" Blake answered. "Hi Blake! It's me, Kent." Kent told Blake. "Hello Kent, what's up?"

"Can we go to the park? I will see you there in 1 o'clock in the afternoon."

"Huh?"

"Bye."

As Blake put down his phone, Annabelle approached him and said, "What's that thing? What kind of magical instrument is that?"

"Oh this? It's called a phone."

"Phone?"

"Yup, you know... gadgets..."

"Gadgets?"

"Oh boy... How come you don't know?"

"We don't have like that in our worl..."

Terra covered Annabelle's mouth.

"Sorry Blake, Annabelle's just ignorant. We don't have things like that."

"Why?" Blake asked.

"Because....because....because we don't know how to use those things right girls...right?" Terra nervously asked the girls forcing them to say yes.

"Yeah, we don't have those things." Jessal replied.

"So much talk... I'm sleepy.!" Magenta added.

"I agree!" Jessal yawns and asked Blake where will she sleep.

"Where do we sleep?" Magenta asked.

"Let's go upstairs.!" As Blake led them to a spacial room with 5 beds on it.

"This is where you sleep." Blake told them. "I will be on the other room." he added.

As soon as Blake walked out the room, the girls whispered to each other.

"Why can't we use our powers?" Annabelle asked.

"I don't know. It seems like we are really in another world." Terra replied.

"A world where no magic existed just like he said?" Jessal asked in confusion.

"What kind of magical field is this? No Magic, no powers and ... *sigh* Let's go to sleep." Annabelle said.

As the girls sleep on their bed and rested.
