5 years after Harry Potter killed Lord Voldemort

5 years after the light has won

5 years after an unexpected friendship began.

In the halls of the Department of Magical Law and Enforcemet, Draco Malfoy, Slytherin Prince, and former headboy, was walking around the corridor.

"Bloody Potter" he muttered as he was holding a file with an unknown death eater's name on it.

He and Harry had been aquaintances for the last 3 years. It was awkward at first but now they can stand and talk on the same room.

Turning his heel to the door to his right, he began to knock when suddenly he saw a disturbing scene (for him)

Hermione Granger, war heroine, Gryffindor head girl, was crying.

Worry was spread all over Draco's face. His bestfriend was crying for godsake

She was reading a note then she stood up not even noticing Draco by the doorway. She ran to the floo and disappeared.

Draco didn't hear the place she flooed to

He just went to her desk and read the note

"Hermione please forgive me, It's not what you thought. I'll come to your office to talk - Ron"

"That daft" he muttered

He knew Ron Weasley was cheating on her. He even saw it in his own eyes. He even told Hermione about it but she won't believe him, apparently she found out

"What are you doing here?" he heard from a voice behind

Turning around there stood Ron Weasley

"The question is Weasley, What are YOU doing here?" He countered

"I'm looking for Hermione, where is she? Answer me you git" Ron exclaimed

Draco snorted "You're such an idiot, obviously Hermione's not here because she already left because of your note"

"And two, I happen to be giving this file" He said raising the file

"Oh the file about your friends?" Ron smirked

Draco's face rose in anger "You know nothing about me Weasel! It's a good thing Hermione left you"

Ron pulled out his wand "Why you-"

"Petrificus totalus"

Ron froze

"Such a git you are weasel, really" Draco pointed out, putting his wand back in his pocket

As he was about to leave, he noticed Hermione left her right hand glove on her desk.

He picked it up and said goodbye to Ron while he was still petrified

He immediately looked for Harry

"Potter" he called out when he saw the green-eyed boy

"Malfoy" he greeted "Have you already gave the file to Hermione?"

"She left" he replied curtly

"What? why? It's still 2 hours before her off"

"Apparently Weasel's been cheating on her"

'WHAT?!"

"Lavender Brown. That's why I need your help Potter, do you have any idea where would she go?"

Harry scratched the back of his neck "I don't know mate, maybe her flat" he suggested

"Okay thanks" said Draco as he began to walk "Weasel's petfrified by the way"
