Two is a very common number.
We have two eyes.
Two ears.
Two feet.
Two lips.
Two arms.
Two legs.
Two lungs.
And we're supposed to have two parents. Two people, that devote their entire lives to protecting and loving the miracles they've created. Two people that love and care for each other so deeply they vow in front of God they will do so until death do them part. But why is it that the 'do them part' piece was caused by 1? One person. One person who changed 3 lives with decisions that cannot be undone. So I guess two isn't such a perfect number at all. It's a constant reminder that the one thing that I need two of, will never be wholly two, no matter what their words do to mend the mistakes of the past.
