Kihyun - Jokes On Me

/ at school /

"Hey Y/N... Y/N!"

I grunted..

"It's Kihyun. Whatever you do, just act like it's funny okay?" my friend, Soyou said.

Then rolled my eyes.

He came up to me, placing his arm around my shoulders. He said, "Hey Y/N, what is a cow's favorite place to go to?"

...

"The MOOvies! AHAHAHAHA!"

I then walked away leaving Kihyun still laughing at his joke. Soyou chuckled at him then followed me behind.

"Dude, why are you making me be nice to him? His jokes are getting on my nerves and they're not even funny."

"Hey, let him do what he loves. It's the least you can do and plus he is my brother after all Y/N. He has feelings too."

"Yeah, yeah. Just make sure he never puts his arm around me ever again."

/ 1 month later /

"Y/N! Wait up!"

"Omg, not again..."

Soyou just smiled and shrugged. I turned around to face another joke of Kihyun's... or did I?

"What do you call a jacket in flames? A bla-"

"Don't even finish." I said instantly to stop him from talking. "I've had enough of your jokes Kihyun. You've been constantly telling me jokes whenever we're at school all the time and they're not even funny. Can you just like go tell them to someone else?"

"Y/N!"

"No.. she's right. I guess not everyone knows the meaning behind direct humor."

Kihyun then left with his head hanging low, dragging his feet slowly across the school hallway.

"What did I tell you Y/N?!"

Soyou then ran towards Kihyun leaving me.

/ at soyou's house /

"Thanks for letting me study with you. I really do apologize about what happened earlier with your brother. I didn't mean it."

"Yeah, it's fine. He's over it already, you can apologize to him once he comes down."

I gave my friend a tight hug and then we began to study.

"Ugh! There's not even enough information. How else are we gonna write this essay?"

Someone from upstairs then called out to his sister aka my friend  to ask if his wallet was downstairs. It was so he came walking down the stairs. I looked up to see who was coming and me oh my that guy was fine! He looked at me with a blank face and walked towards the kitchen. I pulled Soyou close to me and said,

"I didn't know you had another brother."

She looked confused. "Because I don't."

Then the doorbell rang. My friend answered the door and it was a girl, someone 1 or 2 years younger than me. The guy came out of the kitchen, grabbed his shoes and put them on.

"You ready Kihyun?"

KIHYUN?! THAT'S KIHYUN?! WHY DOES HE NOT LOOK LIKE A NERD? HE'S HOT WTF

"Hey, don't forget your wallet and don't be home too late." Soyou said, throwing his wallet in the air for Kihyun to catch it.

He just smiled at his sister then looked at me, once again with a blank face and closed the door behind him.

"Soyou, that was Kihyun?!"

She sees the look on my face and sighed, "Don't you even try to get at him, not after yelling at him and telling him his jokes weren't funny. He doesn't like that and plus he's dating someone."

"Wait, how come he would always tell me a joke in the first? I don't see him telling it to his friends."

"It's because he likes you.. well liked now. He would express how he feels to his crush by telling them jokes."

"Man, now I feel bad... How can I fix this?"

"Yeah, you should be and you can't. Once he's done, he's done. He won't like you back." She said doing her homework.

"Hmm, can I at least try to be his friend?"

"You can try."

/ at school the next day /

"Hey Kihyun!"

He turned around with his head still hanging low.

"I just want to apologize what happened yesterday. I didn't know you telling me those jokes were because you liked me. I feel really bad for yelling at you. I know you're taken already but is there a way where we can at least stay friends?"

He lifted his head up then gave me smile. He then placed his arm around my shoulder and walked me to my class.

"Let's make a deal. If you really feel bad, you have to laugh at all the jokes I tell you from now on, even if it's not funny"

"Because they're not aha"

Soyou then saw us walking and walked next to us. She smiled at you.

"Okay, deal."

"Good. Oh and I'm single. Did you really think I was dating that girl? I just did it because I knew you would feel bad and agree to whatever I say."

Kihyun then laughed while I rolled my eyes. Soyou chuckled and shrugged at me.

btw i knew kihyun doesnt have a sister so i just added soyou from sistar to play the part hehe
