Shownu - Damn Sandwich

You're already having a bad day. Well first of all, you woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Your back is hurting so much you couldn't even get up. Second, work was such a pain. Third, you just remembered you got to study for the exam tomorrow and fourth, you got a headache just by thinking about studying. 

As you look outside, the weather seems just right. Not too hot, not too cold, not too windy, not too dark out yet. You've decided to do some studying at the nearest coffee shop. Once you got there, you went up to the cash register to order a drink.

"Hello. What would you like to order today?"

"Hi, may I have a ( favorite ice cold drink ) please?"

"Yes, you may and would that be all for you?"

Your stomach started to growl really loud. Even the employees let out a little chuckle once they heard it. You looked at the last sandwich they had on the right side of you. As you leaned in to grab the last one, someone reached in first and grabbed it, making you touch his hand. You looked at him and pulled away immediately. 

"I'll just have a drink. That's it."

She handed you your receipt and thanked you. You then went and sat at a table. As you were on your phone, you remembered the reason why you came to the coffee place in the first place and that was to study. You realized you didn't have your stuff with you so you got up and went back to your car to grab them.

"This day can't get any better..."

A few minuets passed already and you're still stuck on that one specific problem. You just sit there, chin in your hands, elbows on the table, staring at the question not even trying to solve it.

"Hey, Y/N right?"

Hearing your name being called made you look up without moving out of your position. You then sat up and fixed yourself really quick after seeing the person who was standing right in front of you. It was a guy. A very attractive guy.

"Uhh... I see you're having troubles solving a problem. Mind if I help?" he asked as he sat down at the seat in front of you.

You were mesmerized by his great looks. Especially with those broad shoulders. You shook your head, getting back into reality and asked,

"Wait, how do you know my name?"

"We're in the same class. You didn't know?"

You leaned back into your chair in embarrassment. Not because you didn't know his name, it's because he was the one you actually had a slight crush on. His name is Shownu, the chill, quiet, shy one that sits in the front just to get his work done faster. You were shocked because you didn't know he would know your name. You then realized he was the one who took the last sandwich. As your stomach started to growl, you placed your arms over your stomach making sure the growling wasn't loud enough for people to hear. He let out a chuckled and said,

"Here. I'll give you half of my sandwich if you go on a date with me."

You're confused. "And why would you want to go on a date with me?"

He bit his half of the sandwich. "Because I like you."

That's another thing about Shownu. He says whatever is on his mind and apparently, you're on his mind. Your stomach started to growl even louder. He chuckled and took another bite of his sandwich. You gave him a look and took his sandwich.

"How about you give me both of your sandwiches and you help me pass the exam?" you said as you bit into the sandwich.

"So if you pass, you'll go on a date with me?"

You ate the last piece. "We'll see." And gave him a smile. Maybe it wasn't a bad day after all. Because of a damn sandwich.
