Oscar pulled the door of the theatre open, allowing Nani to pass in front of him. "How'd you like the movie?" He asked.

"It was good." She smiled nervously. Truth is she was scared out of her mind, so her smile faded quickly. He noticed, chuckling softly as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders whilst they walked toward his car.

He took a sip of his soda before handing it to her. "Hold this for me?"

She reached for the paper cup, grinning at him as he took his keys from his pocket and unlocked the door, holding it open for her. As she sat down her phone dinged in her hand, a notification popping up on her screen. It was from Mario.

"Party at my house."

Nani clicked the power button, turning her head as Oscar got situated in his seat.

"What's up?" He raised an eyebrow at her then stuck the key in the ignition, turning it.

"Nothing." She shook her head, biting her lip softly and nervously.

"Home?" He questioned, putting the Impala in drive, and taking his foot off of the brake.

"Actually." She started, resulting in him to yet again, raise his eyebrow and look at her. "You ever been to a Martinez party?"

Oscar chuckled teasingly. "You talkin' about your ex boyfriend Martinez?" He set the turn signal light on, taking a wide turn.

She agreed. "Yeah, but we'll be going together. So it shouldn't be weird right?"

He laughed again, softly. "I mean, if that's what you want to do, mama. I'm not the jealous type ."

"I think it'll be fun." She piped enthusiastically, shrugging a shoulder. "Who says the night has to end so early?"

Oscar stopped the car in front of his house, throwing the vehicle in park. "No body, mama. I'll be back in a sec, gotta grab something before we go." He opened his door, stepping out, then leaned down to the level of the open window to speak to her. "Do you wanna come in?"

Nani thought for a second, then made a smug face. "Uh... sure." She undid her seat belt as he walked around to the passenger door. He pulled the handle, swinging it in his direction to pull it open. She stepped out, her ankle twisting beneath her at the sudden curb that was in front of her. He began to laugh whilst helping her catch her balance.

"You just think everything I do is funny, huh?" She glared, crossing her arms with a pouty face.

"I do, actually." He began to walk towards the front door, leaving her standing like a toddler on the sidewalk.

She began to walk, before picking up the pace when she couldn't catch up to him. "Hey! Wait for me."

He unlocked the front door and Nani followed him in. She glanced around, it resembled her house. Well, without the couch on the front yard. There were picture frames on the walls, mostly of him and his baby brother, a basket of fruit on the kitchen counter. Weed covered the coffee table, pre-rolled joints and blunts were stacked in a pyramid next to a rolling mat.

He grabbed two, putting them behind either ear, then turned to her. "You ready?"

She furrowed her eyebrows, her face portraying confusion. "Was that it?"

He nodded, shrugging. "Yeah?"

"Hmm." She hummed. "Okay, well, vámonos." She turned on her heel, walking right back out of the door, and down the yard.

He locked the door, then followed her. "I think Cesar may have took off to your friends party."

"He's not my friend." She rolled her eyes, glancing at him. "He's technically your friend."
