Luna walked deeper into the forest with Samuel following her. She seemed to be at ease with him around but she still had a tight hold on the knife in her hand. Passing her thumb over the wooden handle of the knife, she looked at him and noticed that he was hesitant about this. Frowing a bit the brunette looked infront of her and spoke. "You don't have to do this if you don't want to..." She said, "I'm not gonna get mad if you leave or decide not to go on with this. I can do this on my own.. don't worry." He looked at her and blinked, shaking his head with a soft sigh, "No.. it's not that I don't want to... it's just that... this is weird... like something is off. The deeper we go in the more I feel like we have to turn around and just run." He said as he looked around and she looked at him and stopped, "Samuel... It's fine... Dad is always telling me to go have fun outside and here I am... I'm just doing it in a way that feels like me, ya'know.." she said, "If it still feels off you can just return and I'll catch up later... I just really want to do this.." She mumbled the last part quietly, her eyes set on the path ahead of her. Samuel sighed and ruffled her hair, earning a glare fron the brunette, "I can't have you go all on your own... You need someone to protect you~" he smirked a bit, teasingly as he stuffed his hands into the pockets on his pants. She rolled her eyes and began to walk again with him following her. The leaves underneath their feat were crunching softly in a slow and rhymetic way which seemed to calm her anxious heart down. Samuel looked at Luna and grabbed her hand, taking it gently in his much bigger one.
Luna looked at him, taking her emerald eyes off of the path as she focused on his hazel ones and suddenly tripped on something and almost fell on the ground. She was about to hit the ground when a pair of arms caught her and pulled her up steadily. "Careful, you almost got hurt." He said as he looked at the statue infront of them, which was what Luna tripped on. The brunette crouched down infront of it. It seemed to be a statue shaped like a triangle of some sort with one single eye, a top hat and an arm stretched out, the other next to the statue's body, half buried in the dirt. The statue was made out of rough stone, some cracks and moss starting to grow on it. The pupil in his eye seemed to be carved slightly internally... the stature had amazingly great detail in it. The proportions and everything. It looked mesmirizing in the orange light of the sunset. Something about it seemed to be pulling her to it.. an odd force drawing her closer to her. Luna stared at the statue for a while longer, her hand reaching out to feel the rough surface when Samuel snapped her back to reality.  "Luna?" He asked as she pulled her hand back and slowly tore her gaze away from the stone structure infront of her. "Y-yeah? sorry..." she mumbled as she slowly pulled out her phone and began to take a picture of it. "Hey! If you are gonna take pictures... take one of me shaking his hand!" Samuel grinned, chuckling and reached out to hold the statue's out stretched hand but he froze and slowly pulled his hand back, "O-On second thought... let's not." He mumbled. Luna nodded, furrowing her eyebrows, something seemed off about this whole thing but still something was pulling her towards it. Strange... everything is strange here in Gravity Falls... She stared at the statue again wondering quietly how it got here, where it came from and-
Ring...
She blinked bacl to reality and answered her phone quickly, "H-hey dad... ok... Yeah, he's with me... alright... ok... bye." She mumbled and ended the call before looking at Samuel and taking his hand in hers, "We need to go back.. Dinner is ready." She mumbled as they both headed out towards the camp site. Her leading infront of him towards their destination.. but before they left the area, Luna could have sworn she heard a voice in her mind, raspy and maniac like... it felt so real like it came from outside but it was a ringing in her head, saying "We'll meet again, headphones~" The brunette shuddered as she began walking faster her instincts taking over as the statue disappeared from the corner of her eyes.

Back at the campsite Luna was sitting down around the fire with her plate. It had some mashed potatoes and a slice of brisk She ate quietly and watched her family as they spoke about some sports match, the conversation was filled with shouting and grunting and just arguing as Luna paid it no attention. She wasn't the least interested in sports unless they were virtual of course, then she could give them a try. She munched on her potatoes quietly, playing with her food a bit before eating it slowly. That was until her Uncle Akram got up and cleared his throat. "Alright... so you all know Samuel has been taking parts in championships and tournaments... and for the first time... He's been invited to join the Olympics this year." He announced as Luna swallowed and looked at Samuel as he managed a small smile and gave her a "Surprise" look. She smiled a bit at him and gave him a small thumbs up. She's seen Samuel play tennis before and he was really good at it, him reaching the olympics after all that was a great achievement almost like her entering her first gaming tournament. She finished her plate as he came and sat next to her, "So? What do you think?" He asked, looking at her with pleading eyes for some kind of approval.
"Not bad... I'm proud of you." She smiled at him softly. He smiled back and wrapped an arm around her, pulling him close to him, "Thank you.. it feels good hearing it from you~" he teased, smirking as she rolled her eyes. Luna looked infront of her and in the fire, staring at the flames as they danced. She thought she saw an eye looking at her, staring at her as if watching her very carefully. She blinked and it was gone, it felt weird... She felt a strange prescence for a moment and shuddered as Samuel looked at her, confused. "You ok?" He asked and she nodded slowly, "Y-Yeah.. I just need to sleep." She said as she faked a yawn, puting her hand over her miuth and closing her eyes. He nodded, "Well, good night.." he said and she nodded mumbling a quiet 'night' as she headed back to the tents. She took off her hoodie, now only in a grey tanktop as she laid down inside her sleeping bag and tries to sleep. But her body was restless. She felt eyes on her and she felt like someone was around her. She breathed slowly as she closed her eyes and attempted to go to sleep. She told herself it was just her being paranoid and there was no one other than her family and that she was alone in this tent and no one else was with her.

~??? POV~

Perfect. The mortal seems easier to control.. I've been able to use the little energy I have to communicate with her through these devices. She seems naïve enough and perfect for my plan. Tricking Headphones will be way easier than I thought. I'll finally get my revenge soon.
