The brunette groaned as she swatted away another mosqito earning a harsh shush from one of her uncles as James shot a deer and missed. "Hey, keep that hermit quiet so I can shoot!"
"Don't call her that, James!"
"Shut up, Sam! Besides why are you trying to defend that hermit?"
The two males kept yelling at each other as Mindy just watched them with a bored expression and Luna frowned looking at the trees infront of her when she noticed a movement, "Umm... guys?" She mumbled quietly, no one paid attention to her so she groaned mentally and walked up to Samuel, knowing that if she were to do that to James or Mindy they may hit her, and poked his shoulder and put a hand on her lips to keep him quiet as she pulled him by the arm to the bushes.
"Hey, where are you going, dork? Don't tell me you are gonna make out with him? Is that why he defends you? Because you suck him~" James smirked as he teased and Luna gritted her teeth unknowingly tightening her hold on Samuel's arm and earning a quite protest from him as she relaxed her hold. She crouched down behind the bushes and pointed at something in the bushes, "There... something moved." She whispered and he nodded taking out his shotgun, but he stopped.
"It's time we earn you some respect." He smiled and handed her the gun, she tried to protest but he insisted.
Luna took in a deep breath as she lifted the gun, it wasn't as heavy as she expected but it wasn't as light as Samuel made it out to be. She positioned it just like she did in the Zombie RPG games she played and tried to take aim. She took in a deep breath as she heard Samuel instruct her, "Control your breathing with the shooting. Now this may push you back so try to stay still. Alright?" He whispered and she hummed as she put her fingers around the trigger and did as told.
BANG. The shot sounded through the forest gaining her father's attention as the dear fell on the ground limp.
"Who shot that dear?" Her dad exclaimed and she squeaked a quiet, 'me.'
"Uncle! It was Luna! She shot the dear!" Samuel said and Mindy got up.
"No way, that hermit can't even hold up a gun right!"
"Well, she did! And on her own as well!" Samuel shot back.
Luna's father turned his head from the bickering teens to Luna who was still holding the gun. "Did you shoot it, Lun?"
"Y-yes.. I'm s-sorry if you w-were planning o-on killing it-" she got interrupted by her father cheering and calling for his brothers to come.
"Jackson, come have a look! Luna just made her first kill!!" Her father yelled propably scaring every animal in a mile. Luna gulped a bit as her uncles all began to round her father and congratulate him. Soon this attention would be on her and it didn't help that she was the first to kill this trip, Mindy's glare pierced her skin like knives.
"D-dad.. I'm t-tired.. Can I g-go back to the tents n-now?" She asked as she got up and walked to her dad. Her father grinned at her, "Of course! I'm so proud of you!" He said and slapped her on the back earning a yelp from the brunette. She passed by Mindy and James who scoffed at her, "Beginner's luck."
"Next time you'll be the dear if you don't watch it."
Once she passed them she gulped and ran to the tents quickly. This would be one long trip, but atleast she knew that maybe with Samuel to talk to it won't be so bad... right?

The sun began to set in the horizon while Luna sat in her tent checking her e-mails and any messages some of her fans might have sent her after she uploaded the going on a hunting trip with my family. The picture included her looking sad as she hugged her controller and saying she'll miss it. Some comments told her to go and kick some deer butt, others were giving her their pity. She smiled a bit as she read a comment from one of her favourite fans. It was a fan that lived in Gravity Falls too but for some reason they never could meet up. "Live the story mode and explore the forest, will ya @TheWiredGamerXx?" She read the comment online and shrugged, poking her head out of the tent, her family was still busy preparing for dinner and it seemed like a perfect oppurtunity to sneak out for a few minutes. She slowly crept outside the tent and began running to the edge of the campsite. It felt like there was some kind of force pushing her somewhere else. Pushing her down deeper into the forest. She slowly walked around trying to be as quiet as possible. She stuffed her hand in her pockets for some comfort as she felt a small plastic surface and gripped it tightly. Her father had given her a small pocket knife when they first started this trip and it was still in her hoodie pocket, thankfully. The brunnette kept walking and following the forcw that was pushing her when she heard a familiar voice call out her name. She stopped and turned around noticing it was Samuel. She blinked as he ran up to her and stopped right infront of her, "Where... where are you going?" He asked her and she shrugged, "I'm... not sure I was just walking and... Something tells me I should be heading that way. She mumbled and she turned back again and began to movie feeling the light pushing forcing lessen into a guiding force. She looked back and saw Samuel still in his place, "Well come on! Don't just stand there. Follow me!" She grinned a bit at him. He nodded and began to follow her.
