*** Jase's POV***
All through school people were coming up to me telling me how i will be a great alpha, or how i will lead this pack to
greatness and all that shit. i mean i wasn't really looking forward becoming Alpha, deep down i think im not ready to take on
all this responsibility. i haven't been taught all the ropes my parents died when i was sixteen so i was basically already alpha
but today is like the actual day, i rename the pack and take it on as my own. I can't wait to meet my mate i know she will be a
great Luna and keep me sane through all this.
For the party we had rented this huge house out, hired and DJ with tons of beer. I had just got done with making out with
Megan and need to grab a beer i felt a little sick with her chocking me with her tongue. Hannah, Clair, Danny, Kellin and Andy
came up to me saying they couldn't wait to see who my mate would be. "I haven't met her yet but i hope so soon so i could get
rid of Megan, shes really getting on my nerves and making me sick" i told all of them. "well lets just hope it not her" Hannah
said while Andy wrapped his arm around her. i glared at Hannah "that's not funny". everyone began to laugh and walked off, i
was just standing there when someone ran into my chest. I felt a warm feeling run through my body while my wolf
screamed " MATE, MATE, MATE" i looked down excited to see who it was. I looked into the most beautiful green eyes, and
continued to look at Katie's body. I could feel my eyes turn purple as i was socking in my mate. I quickly remembered who
my mate was,Katie i was fulled with anger and hate. "your my mate" i heard her whisper instantly my body shivered to her
words. I had to play it cool or i would be laughed at if anyone knew i was the fat, annoying girl's mate. "You think I'm your
mate?! HAHA your pathetic, just because you want attention doesn't mean you can use me" I hissed. Laughter filled the
room as Katie began to cry, ahh it just broke my heart to see her like this and it hurt more to know im the one who caused
her to cry. she closed her eyes and said "Okay if I'm really that pathetic, then I Katie Wolf, am leaving this pack" and like
that she turned around and walked out of my life.
when she walked out that door everyone cheered, then went on with what ever they were doing, my wolf howled in pain
because I refused to let him claim his/my mate. All through the night i was emotionless even during the ceremony, when i
named the pack "Dark Shadows" . I really didn't feel anything expect for pain "I can't believe i did that" i keep saying to myself
through out the night.
