Katie's POV
Calli and I became great friends, I told her who my mate was and how I would ask him later on if Calli and her mate can become a part of our
pack. But she still has to talk with her mate first, we ended up spending a couple of hours just talking and shopping and we were now head to the
doors to exit out the mall. "so it was nice meeting you Calli, here give me your phone number so we can keep in contact" I told her while pulling
out my phone. "Oh of course, my number is (626) 853-8767" Calli said before I gave her my number, "well did you drive here or do you need a
ride?" I asked, pulling out my car keys from my pocket. "Um no thanks my boyfriend should be here soon" she answered, "okay well if theres
any trouble just call me" I said walking to Jace's car, I opened the door and put the keys in. I love the way the car roars to life, looking at the
clock it read 8:30pm "shit" its already dark, I know when i get home I'm going to be playing 20 questions with Jace as soon as I step foot through
the door.
I pulled in the drive way, turning off the car and locking up, I headed towards the door. I didn't even get my hand on the door knob before it
ripped open "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" Jace yelled, I pushed passed him and walked in "well "dad" I was at the mall the hole time" I rolled
my eyes making sure to put emphases on the word dad. "you where ther-" he paused and started to smell the air,"what is that smell" he asked
eying me suspiciously. oh hell no he thinks I was with another male wolf, i swear to god if you says that to me I going to go bitch crazy, I
thought. "I dont know what do you think it is" I glared at him, He was in front of me in a blink of an eye. "you smell like a rogue, did you-", I
laughed a dry laugh in his face, " O yea Jace I slept with another wolf and it was amazing, he was so big" I was fuming with anger. "WHAT THE
FUCK!!" he yelled, his eyes turning dark. "NO! FUCK YOU!, you have no trust in me" I spitted with venom, I stomped up stairs only to stop and
the last step , I pulled his keys out my pocket and through them at him.
I walked into our room and slammed the door, heading towards the closet I grabbed a blue pull over that had a white anchor on the front with a
pair of black jeans. I pulled my hair into a messy bun, I quickly undressed and made my way towards the door. I slipped on my black toms and
walked to a window on the other side of the room. [polyvore] Twisting the lock and
opening it up I jumped through to land on my feet, I pulled out my Ipod that was already in my pocket and put the head phones in. Making my
way into the forest with the moon shining so bright, I didn't need a flash light. My favorite song came on "if you can't sleep at night by of mice &
men", I hummed the tune walking deeper and deeper. I knew where I was going, when I use to live out here there was this spot on a cliff looking
over a lake it was so beautiful. I pushed past a big tree branch to see my spot, sitting there was a boy about my age. Hmm I wonder why hes
here? " I see you like to sit here to, it gorgeous isn't it?" I asked with a soft smile making my way towards him and plopping right down. I know
what your thinking "why is she just walking up to a total stranger? he could be a rogue." I don't know myself, I feel like I know him. He whipped
around and jumped up really fast" Im sorr-" he stopped in the middle of what he was going to say and just stared at me. His eyes started to glow
and turned this amazing green, "your eyes are glowing" I said uneasy "so are yours" he walked closer to me and all I could do was just stand
there.
"that's impossible that could only mean one thing" he pulled me into and embrace. "I'm scarred whats going on?" I asked my inner wolf, she
simply replied in a soothing tone " he's you brother". Then it hit me all the memories came flooding back my head start to feel like it was going to
burst, I fell limp in his arms screaming at the top of my lungs, it felt like days that the pain went on but really it was only for 10 minutes. Finally
when it stopped I just stood there, "yo- youu aree my brotherr" I stuttered. "Yes Katie, I thought I lost you forever" tears began to fall from his
eyes. "theyy took you awayy" he looked so pained like he was going back in time, recalling everything that had happened. Standing better I
wrapped my arms around him the best I could and just let all his tears fall on my shoulder as he rested his head by my neck, "shh its all okay" I
whispered as a mother would. An hour passed when his tears started to stop and his breathing settled, I didn't care about my shirt being wet or
my legs hurting from all that standing all that mattered was I had my brother back. "here sit, so we can talk because I still don't fully understand"
I motioned for him to sit. He took a deep breath, "well when we were little we were inseparable, mom and dad were always busy with work and
running the pack, one night when it was raining really bad out side with thunder storms , the front door was busted down and these large men
came in. One picked you up and waited while the other came for me I hid in the basement and waited till they were gone, I came out to find
everything destroyed. Mother was on the floor crying while father tried to calm her down, I was blamed for them taking you even though I was
only five at the time. But what I don't understand is why you couldn't remember anything" he questioned. I laughed "well maybe because I was
what three?" , "yes I know that but your a "wolf of death" we never forget anything, unless" he looked away, "unless what?" I was getting
impatient. "Unless they did some kind of witch craft or brain washed you" he had a kill look in his eyes, " you cant be serious" I asked, "they can
do that, what pack are you in?", I was getting nervous " uh actually I'm mates with the Alpha of Dark Shadows". "HOW COULD HE!" my brother
yelled, "how could who?" , " Jamison, he was one of father's good friends back when he still was still in charge of the pack". " so what your telling
me is I was stolen as a child from our parents , brain washed and lived my life as knowing everything to be a lie?" , my brother was quiet for a
moment before saying "yes" .
My blood started to boil and I was getting angrier by the minuet, my inner demon was coming out, "come on, where gonna go kick some ass,
Jace has some explaining to do." My brother and I switched into our identical wolves and raced towards the house.
