*Grace's POV*
I sat up in my hospital bed, immediately feeling light headed. I looked around the room, finding only one person there. I didn't recognize him. He had messy brown hair and really beautiful green eyes. He smiled at me.
"You're awake!"
"Um I don't know you. Where's Lou?" I asked.
"Oh of course! I'm Cameron Quiseng. I play bass in Allstar Weekend. I think they went down to the cafeteria because Niall was hungry?"
"Probably. So you play bass, eh?"
"Yup. Do you play any instruments." He asked. It shocked me how genuinely interested he sounded, like he actually wanted to know all about me.
"I play a bit of violin. Been playing since I met Lou and that was ages ago." I answered.
"How did you meet Louis?"
"Well we went to elementary together. We got paired up for a school trip and at first it was a bit awkward. Then he told a joke and had me in stiches for the rest of the trip. We've been inseperable ever since." I said, smiling at the memory.
"That's really nice!" He said.
"You know you don't have to pretend you care because I'm in here." I sighed. He inched the plastic chair he was sitting in closer to me.
"I do care! You seem really cool. I'd like to get to know you better." He said softly. Our faces were inches apart. I turned away.
"Can you go get Lou? I need to talk to him." I asked quickly before he could say anything about the almost kiss. He look disappointed but nodded and left the room. I sat quietly, thinking about how much I'd wanted to kiss him and staring at the bright white walls until the boys came running in.
"Oh my gosh! It's One Direction! I'm getting teary!" I joked as they walked in. They laughed and Louis came over to me.
"Hey love. How are you feeling?"
"I'm alright." I said. I looked past him to Niall staring at me, a concerned look on his face. I'd known Niall for a long time. He was really sweet and adorable, but he always acted really rum when it was just the two of us.
"Hey, babe." Niall said, sitting in the chair Cameron had been previously occupying.Speaking of Cameron...
"Cameron's gone." I noted and the boys nodded.
"He's downstairs, getting something to eat." Niall told me, a satistified grin on his face. His blue eyes shone.
"I hope you feel better soon. Grace, I need to tell you something." He whispered in my ear. Our eyes met for a second before he spoke, slowly yet steadily, "I-I like you a lot."
"Niall, you're so sweet," His face lit up, "but I don't know if I can return these feelings." His face dropped and I felt my heart break. I hated disapointing people. I closed my eyes and soon I fell into a deep sleep.
*Diane's POV*
I walked into the tour bus, my heels clacking against the floor. This bus held so many memories, some of them I weren't exactly proud of, like breaking Brent's heart. You see, I'd never wanted to, but it had seemed inevitabled at the time.
I'd been so young. Brent was my first real relationship. I still remember the day we met like it was yesterday:
It was a blazing hot summer day, my first day in California, where I'd moved for my singing career. I had decided to go to the beach by my apartment. I was tanning when someone tapped me on the shoulder. I had looked up through my sunglasses to see a very handsome guy standing above me, holding up a cell phone.
"Hey, is this yours?" He'd asked.
"Nope." I'd said, pointing to my IPhone sitting beside me.
"Okay, the real reason I came over here is because I wanted to talk to you." I'd giggled. He was adorable.
"Talk to me then."
"Hi, I'm Brent."
"I'm Diane." and with that we'd talked for hours.
Before I knew it we were together. I remember how happy I was back then. But all good things end eventually. That brings me to the reason I broke the poor guy's heart. I'd done it because I was afraid of commitment, of getting my heart broken. The only solution in my mind was to end it before he could and I've regretted it ever since.
"Diane." Zach said sourly, jolting me out of my thoughts.
"Zach." I replied, tossing my medium-length, straight brown hair over my shoulder and walking towards the bunk area of the bus. Brent was sitting in his bunk, on his laptop, most likely writing a script for a future Weekend Show. "Hey." I said, smiling up at him. He looked up and grinned at me,jumping out of the bunk, taking my hand, and leading me to the lounge in the back of the bus.
When we got there, I saw a heart-stopping gorgeous guy. He had dark brown hair styled into a quiff and eyes that were the color of melted dark chocolate.
"Hey Brent. Who's the pretty girl?" He asked, giving me a heartstopping smile.
"Zayn, this is Diane. My girlfriend." He said warningly.
Zayn. I liked the name and the boy it belonged to.
A/N: Hey guise! So I wanted to write so you guys got a long chapter! Yay! haha. In Grace's POV there are a lot of British terms, so if you are British and nobody actually says those, feel free to correct me :D. Comment (even to tell me it sucks), vote, and fan.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this,
Lilly (:
