Part 3

'Hi guys! It's Ylona here. This time...'

Her videos would always start like that. She would update us on her current situation. The things she has dealt with. It was always short. Her updates would always last for a minute or so. But that's how their friendship survived. 

It was tough at first. Especially when they would receive videos of Ylona crying. It troubled Darren more than it did to the others. 

Just the thought of not being able to comfort Ylona, kills him. But he couldn't really do anything...

He badly wanted to go to Australia. He was on the verge of booking his plane ticket, but he never did. Deep inside, he knows Ylona needed space.That's why, even though it pains him a lot, he dicided to give Ylona the space he wanted.

And that's how they lived for the past months. Short updates, but at least they always showed improvement. That's what matters at the moment.

'Yoh D! You ready?' AC asked him cheerfully.

'Yeah.' Darren answered humorlessly.

'Hey man, I know it's hard. Pero cheer up a bit. Your fans are out there waiting to have the time of their lives. I know for a fact that she will not appreciate it if you're sulking at your own party!' Kyle said, motivating him.

'Yeah. Let's go'

As his party went on, his mood improved. His fans, whom he deeply loves, managed to lighten up his humor. The party has been a blast and now, it was actually coming to an end.

'Nakabati na ang family mo. Nakabati na rin sina AC, Kyle at ang mga kaibigan mo. Pero alam naman nating may isa pang taong hindi nakakabati sa'yo..." The host said and cheers erupted from the fans.

'At sa tili naman ng mga fans mo ay parang kilala niyo na ang tinutukoy ko. Kaya bakit pa natin papatagalin ito. Here's Ylona's video greeting for you.'

'Hi Darren! Wow, it's been so long! Look at you! You're 18 na. Grabe talaga! I still remember when I first met you. Payatot ka pa noon and hindi ka pa ganoon katangkad. Now, if you were to stand next to me, magmumukha kang building. Kidding aside, I'm very proud of how far you've come. Isa ka na sa tinitingala sa industriya. You have made a name na! 

Pero what makes me even more proud is that you've also been a very good friend, hindi lang samin ng Potato Squad, pero kung hindi sa iba pang artists. I'm so happy to be called your friend. I wish you the best, D! Alam mo na naman wish ko para sa'yo. And before I end this video, here's a song for you.'

However, the video was cut short. The screen turned black.

'Okay wait lang. There seems to be a problem.' The host said. He was about to add something but the audio suddenly played.

A familiar melody started playing. It's the song! He can't be wrong.

The screen was still black but the melody continued playing. Later on, Ylona's sweet voice came in.
