Bonus

Ylona and Darren were hanging out in his apartment. 

Ylona was silently reading her book. It was romantic novel and she was very engrossed in it. She was now nearing the climax of the story.

However, she got distracted by Darren's giggles.

'Hey, would you keep it down? I'm trying to read a book here. What are you even doing?'

'Oh sorry! I'm rewatching our 'scene' during my 18th birthday party.'

'What? That stuff happened 7 years ago though.'  Ylona asked curiously.

'Yeah, but a fan reposted it and wow...just wow!' Darren exclaimed, clearly amused.

Ylona can still remember that day but she has to admit that she's very curious. 

'Okay now you have my interest. Lemme see it!' Ylona closed her book and sat beside Darren, her head on his shoulder.

'Wow, we were very cheesy back then.' Darren stated.

'Well, I can't really blame you naman. Yang ganyang ganda ba naman ang nasa harapan mo.' Ylona cockily said.

'Wow! Where did that confidence come from? May nakain ka ba na hindi ko nakain?' Darren jokingly said.

'Sus itong ganda namang ito ang hinahanap hanap mo.'

'Well, thet is given.' Darren chuckled.

'We've come far na din no? I mean not Kathniel far pero...you know what I mean.' Ylona asked.

'Yeah, we did.' Darren confirmed.

'You've taken a lot of important roles in my life. You've been my singing partner, a friend, a best friend, my unicorn, my knight in shining armor, my protector, my crying shoulder...'

'And now boyfriend. don't forget about that.' Darren said, cutting Ylona.

'Yeah. You're now my boyfriend, too.  But you know, there still some roles left.

'Yeah? Like what?' Darren asked curiously, looking at her.

'I don't know if you would want to apply in the future pero you know I would still need someone to be my fiancé and eventually my husband.' Ylona answered. She, then, stood up with a knowing smile and headed to the kitchen.

Shocked was an understatement. Darren was red in the face and he had trouble processing her word and uttering a response.

'Ylona?'

'Yeah?'

'What do you mean by that?'

'Well that for me to know and for you to find out.'

Darren couldn't stop the smile that was forming on his face. He quickly fished out his phone, went to the terrace and made a call.

'Yoh, Kyle!'

'What?! We were filming a vlog. This better be important.'

'Meeting tomorrow. We have a proposal to plan.'

'Wait dude?! What do you mean by that? Are you finally doing it? Are you-' But Kyle was cut short. Darren ended the call and stared at the starry night.

'Oh wow! Jus like the stars, thhe future is bright.' he muttered.
