Don't stop, doing what you're doing.
Every time you move to the beat it gets harder for me,
And you know it, know it, know it.
Don't stop, 'cause you know that I like it.
Every time you walk in the room you got all eyes on you,
And you know it, know it, know it.

Don't Stop ~ 5 Seconds Of Summer <3 (I'm a disclaimer)

*Caroline's POV*

Every month Klaus leaves for a week and doesn't return until Sunrise the next week. He had never really told me where he goes; nor what he does; nor why he does it for that matter. He returns back in rags, starving and exhausted. I used to wonder if he went out fighting bears for a living. No, it's much more than that... He says he does it for my protection. What I fail to see is, what is he protecting me from?

I led staring up at the glistening moon which was barely peeping from the large herd of clouds. The trees swayed calmly in the breeze, the silent street still. I yawned and snuggled deeper into my bed, blanketing my eyes and dozing off. I awoke some time later, about 1:00 am, to curious yellow eyes fixed on me. I gasped and sat up, the eyes following my every movement. The only logic explanation was...

A wolf? Who...?

I thought to myself. I slid out of bed and cautiously made my way to the light switch, our eyes not loosing focus. There sat on my bed was a large, brown wolf. It whimpered and led down as if surrendering to me. I backed myself up against the wall, causing its head to cock slightly to the side. Its tail wagged furiously behind it. I shivered and closed my eyes, opening them to reveal the brown mutt led at my feet submissively. I gasped and backed myself further against the wall, now standing on my tip toes. It sat up and nuzzled my hand. Still panicking, I ran towards the door and was just about out when I heard a deep growl. It barked loudly, I could hear its heavy foot steps getting louder, and louder, and louder... They stopped. I squinted and let go of the door handle.

Where's Klaus when you need him... Wait...

"KLAUS?" I shouted in shock. He barked in reply.

"YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME. WHY ARE YOU IN WOLF FORM?" He whimpered and pointed to the moon which had emerged from the clouds.

Full moon... Fuck.

I sighed in relief and made my way back onto the bed. I flung myself down and led with my eyes closed. I felt his rough, slobbery tongue glide across my cheek as he 'kissed' me.

"Ew gross!" I moaned as I wiped off the saliva. He led down beside me.

"NO! I'M NOT SLEEPING WITH A MUTT!" Klaus growled in reply.

"I'm sorry. Out!" I said pointing towards the door. Nothing.

"KLAUS! OUT!" Nothing.

"I'll leave then." He placed his leg on me and whimpered. He wasn't supposed to be back so early... He rested his head on the pillow and dosed off, snuggled up next to me.

Damn it... I need to turn the light off...

I buried my head into my pillow and soon fell asleep.

I woke up with my arms wrapped round a rather naked Klaus' waist. I covered us under our blanket (duvet if you're English) and ran my fingers through his messy hair. His lips were slightly parted and looked ever so kissable. I watched his chest rise and fall in his blissful slumber and smiled.

This. Is what he is protecting me from?

"The lights on, Love." Klaus whispered tiredly. He turned around so that he was facing me.

"I-..."

"You..." He snickered, his face burning bright red in embarrassment.

"Sorry-" I cut him off, forcing my lips upon his.Our lips locked as our hands intertwined, Klaus pulled me closer into his embrace. The kiss was soft and passionate, it felt like it could last a life time. My heart thudded against my chest in delite. I pulled away and grinned.

"Woof."
