Boulevard Of Broken Dreams ~ Green Day <3 (I'm a disclaimer)

"KLAUS! I bellowed, my voice echoing through the large, empty house. I could hear grunting and sighs coming from the lounge room and sped in to see a frowning, mad looking hybrid. 

"Yes. Love?" He growled. I shivered and took a step back. 

"H-Have you seen Hunter's mess?" He looked at me, confused written all over his face. I sighed and stomped out, Klaus trailing closely behind me. 

"What has he done this time?" Knowing how scared Hunter got off Klaus, I ignored him and carried on walking, angering him even more. 

"Caroline-" 

"DON'T. Shout at me. You were supposed to be watching him!" I spun around and glared in annoyance, Klaus stumbling as he came to a sudden stop in order not to knock me over.

"I was busy!" 

"Busy? What sort of joke is that? He is your 5 year old son! He could've gotten himself killed! And don't even think about blaming him for the mess, because maybe if you looked after him properly he wouldn't-" I stopped. 

"Caroline-" I put my finger over his mouth and examined the noise a little more. 

*Sniff* 

I sped away back towards the child's bedroom to find Hunter hidden under the small bed. He shifted backwards. A piercing feeling hit me, my chest ached and my eyes formed puddles. I moved closer and bent down so our eyes met. 

"Is daddy mad at me?" He whimpered and gripped onto his teddy, tearing the fabric. 

"No... No no no! Come here!" I patted my lap, beckoning him to come sit on me. He slowly made his way out and buried his face into my top. I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him reassuringly. I could sense Klaus' stare, as if it was burning a hole in the back of me. 

"Klaus. I'm sorry." I whispered as I stood up, Hunter still in my tight grip. I smiled as Klaus pulled me into his embrace, his arms now wrapped around my waste, his head resting on my shoulder. I could feel soft kisses being placed against my neck. I Kissed Hunter's head softly before placing him down, allowing him to go play. I turned around and hugged Klaus. 

"I love you, Caroline." 

"I love you too Klaus."
