[3:00 AM]
Exactly 3 AM is when I woke up, silently laying straight staring at the ceiling, not being able to move any muscle in my body. I know that I am awake and I know I can't move but my mind starts to freak out, like I am my soul trapped inside my body, feeling like a prison made for a singular human soul. I instantly try to image something or someone that makes me super happy and always makes me laugh no matter what we do together. Instantly Cameron pops into my mind, my dark room lit up by the bright full moon suddenly turns into a nice sunset background in an open field with Cameron standing right in front of me pulling me to run with him in the fields. Suddenly i'm at peace, soon enough I fell asleep sweetly and calmly.
[8:04 AM]
I wake up to the sweet amazing smell of breakfast, and I instantly get up as fast as I can and run to the kitchen to see what is cooking and once I get to the kitchen, I see a feast of food for breakfast. Pancakes! Eggs! Bacon! Sausage! COFFEE!! God I love coffee, coffee is honestly my best friend in life. Screw friends, I have coffee in my life. My dad, mom, and I are all sitting at the dining table eating some food and drinking juice and coffee together silently hearing each crunch we take into certain foods. My mom starts to create small talk at the table to distract us from the awkward silence between us.
"So, how has school been Jacob? Make any new friends recently?"
"I made two friends.."
"Oh good! When do we meet them?!"
*cough* I start to choke on some eggs after hearing what my mom just asked me.
"I'm sorry, say that again."
"When do we meet your friends honey? Maybe you can have them over tonight for a sleepover?"
"Uhh, I would have to ask them, and isn't it kind of sudden just to let them know the day of the event?"
"Yeah, but I just really want to meet them honey. What are their names?"
"Cameron Gouldy and Susan Springer."
"Oooo, they sound like really nice people. What do they do?"
"Cameron plays sports for the school team but his grades are just around average. Susan has really good grades, more the nerdy type than sporty type of girl. She is taking like three advanced placements classes and I honestly don't know how she does it."
"They sound really fun honey! It would be even better if I meet them and they introduce themselves to us."
"Heh, yeah. They are a real catch."
"Go ask them right now and see if they are available for that sleepover tonight!"
*sigh* "Fine."
I go ahead and call Susan first since I know she wouldn't have any plans for today, but she didn't answer which was weird. I also don't think she would be the type to sleep in either. I will just text her and let her know my address and what we will be doing at my house for tonight. Next I call Cameron and he answers.. shocker.
Hey Cameron, my mom was wondering if you want to come over tonight and spend the night. Food and snacks will be provided along with a place to sleep.
Oh hell fucking yeah! What time can I be over?
Uhh, around 6 pm I guess.
Alright. *whispers* Do you want me to bring alcohol?!
Why are you whispering? We are in a call with just us. And no, what the hell dude, my parents are still going to be home with us.
Ah right, sorry forgot about that. I'll be over around 6 pm alright?
