Like any good friend group, you always have "that spot" yeah, you know what I'm talking about, the one spot you all hangout together and talk all your best drama stories you heard about one another or about other people. Every school and every group of friends have "a spot" there are also spots where fights happen, people make out (the worst of spots ever), and so on. The one weird, odd, cold spot that my group of friends sit at during school is near the vending machines in the tight little cold corner where all the trash and condiments are thrown to rot and smell up the entire school. Yeah, it's not the best of spots, but it's our spot the best of spots out there. Everyone at the school knows it's our spot and no one will dare challenge to fight for that spot because of how disgusting and dirty it is over there. We don't care how disgusting it is because we distract ourselves by making fun of each other and talking about all the drama we know. Eventually, Cameron had a crazy idea of having a spot of our own to go to after school to maybe study or just hangout.
"Why don't we have a spot outside of school?!" Cameron wondered.
"Well, why would we ever need one? We can just go to one of our houses and study or hangout there." Susan said.
"Yeah, we could do that, but doesn't it kind of boring time from time? We always do the same thing there and eat and drink the same old snacks." Cameron responded.
"Cameron does have a point, I mean I do get kind of tired of just eating the same potato chips that we have in our pantries." Susan explained.
"I mean where would we go then?" I asked.
"We don't know, we just need to drive around the area and see what looks appealing to us." Cameron said.
"When do you guys want to look around then?" I asked.
"I have to ask my parents too so let's know quick." Susan exclaimed.
"Why not tonight? I mean it's only Wednesday and we don't have any major assignments due this week." Cameron said.
"Sure, of course I am free to do anything." I said.
"Let me ask my parents real quick.." Susan quickly said before grabbing her phone.
Susan starts to text her parents really quickly pressing each numbed multiple times just to get the correct capitalization or letter to ask if she could go out tonight. While Susan was texting her parents, Cameron kept staring at me and making the most ugliest faces he could make and it just made me laugh my ass off on how much he wanted to see me smile and laugh at how big of an idiot he was.
"What are you doing Cameron?" I said as I giggle.
"Making you laugh obviously!" he said with a little smirk.
"You look like an idiot!" I exclaimed.
"Well I'm your idiot." he responded smiling.
"Ugh, you're too much sometimes." I laughed.
"Well you're welcome!" he bows slightly.
"Alright! Text sent! Now we wait for a response from them. It most likely will take a while for them to respond because they barely know how to open the phone, but, it's still a response." Susan said.
The school bell rings and we all say our goodbyes and go our separate directions to our next class. As I am sitting in class daydreaming about how fun later tonight will be, the entire day basically just flashed with just a blink of an eye because of how caught up I was. It was already sixth period and I am sitting next to the most wonderful person in the world and that is Cameron. Ever since we started dating, he has been tickling me during class attempting me to burst out laughing and creating a disruption in the class lesson.
