"I can't believe that your going on a date with a boy who's name you don't even know." Miguel said sarcastically. He sat on my bed as I scrambled around in my closet for some clothes to wear. For some odd reason everything that I took out of my wardrobe just did not look right. I was having a really hard time deciding on what I should wear and for some odd reason I wanted to look perfect.
"Instead of going on about me going on a date with a nameless guy why don't you be useful for once and help me pick out something to wear."
I turned around to see his reaction but all he did was scoff. "Fine. How about that black dress over there?"
I turned to see what it was he had spotted and just shook my head. "Miguel, I don't even know where he's taking me, what if I end up there overdressed?"
He sat up this time more involved in the conversation as he crossed his legs on the bed. "You see that's the thing, this dress is perfect. It's not to overdone but it's still nice to use to a fancy place." I could see that he was being serious about me using the dress from the expression on his face.
Since the time we were little Miguel would always give me his most honest opinion on just about anything. I trusted what he said because I knew that he would never lie to me about anything. Which I why I was going to do what I did next.
"Are you sure this dress is ok to wear?"
"I'm positive Lizzy, now if you don't want to be late for your date I suggest you hurry up because it's almost six."

I have always been a person that took punctuality very seriously. Which is why I decided to wait outside ten minutes earlier. The night was buzzing with all kinds of activities. Crickets humming, cars hooting as they went by, noise from neighbors party. It was a Friday night and the excitement for the long awaited weekend was on. It had been a rather hot day and by the afternoon it was starting to cool down which helped us manage with the heat.
I pulled out my phone from my purse to check the time. 5:57. I slowly put away my phone and was greeted by the sound of a car hooter. I stood for a minute in shock at the site in front of me. There before my eyes stood a GTR skyline its it's freshly painted body of blue and black. I have always been a car fanatic and seeing this car only made my breathing go all funny, because I was not only going to be looking at the car I was going to soon be seated in it.
Just as I started to make my way to the car he( Mr mystery) jumped out and made his way towards me. If I thought the site of the car was breathtaking, this guy was nonetheless with his suit and tie. Please don't tell me that I'm drooling over another guy again....
"Wow, you look...." He paused as he scanned me from head to toe. "Beautiful."
"Why thank you kind sir who's name I do not know." Yes I know I'm being pathetic, sue me.
"That's cute, but unfortunately it's not going to make me tell you my name so easily." He shot me a wink as he smiled. I couldn't help but just roll my eyes. Well ad least I tried.
"So what's it gonna take for you tell me your name?" I said as we made our way to the car. He opened the door and gestured for me to jump in. What a gentleman.
"How about a kiss?" He had a smug look on his face as he looked at me with a small ray of hope in his eyes.
"Do you really think that I would kiss a guy who's name I don't even know?" I raised an eyebrow as I asked him questionably.
"No, but it was worth the try." He shrugged as he closed the door, making his way to the drivers side.
I let out a small chuckle. This guy was one heck of a bad boy.
