I looked into the ghostly eyes of who was one my best friend.
The eyes of someone who I loved dearly
The eyes of someone who was smart and carefree
The eyes of who had a life
Who had friends
Who had boyfriends
Who had a loving family
"I didn't mean it," Rachel said.
"I know," Sophie cried.
"I don't want to go," Rachel screamed as her soul left her body,
Leaving her limp body hanging off her bed
Leaving her body to be dealt with by her parents
Leaving her body for me to explain to her parents what happened
This wasn't how life should end for anyone
Immortality was an option
Just an option that no one could get without slipping the word 'death'
