DESCRIPTION:
❝ hey, asshole, if you die, i don't pass this algebra test! ❞
or
in which the student from the school on 44th that gets tutored by Peter Parker finds out that a) his tutor is a local vigilante and b) he might have a crush on his tutor!
EXTENDED SUMMARY:
Adam O'Donnell had a lot of things going for him. He played drums in a band with his best friend and sister, he was happy being single, his therapist finally cleared him to stop his anti-depressants, things were looking up for sophomore year. Until he started failing Algebra. Not wanting to fail him entirely, his teacher suggested a tutoring program run by students at Midtown Tech a.k.a a school for people that were light years ahead of Adam. Begrudgingly, he accepts the help and gets stuck with a dorky tutor named Peter Parker. Adam learns a lot of things during these tutor sessions and beyond, mainly, he learns how to find x (if x is finding out that your tutor and unfortunately, your crush, is Spider-Man)
NOTES:
— i had this up on my profile like a million years ago and i thought now that im working on a new peter parker fic and have officially let go of the idea, i would put it up here!
— Uh Adam isn't stupid, but math just has never been his strong suit (in my story, he had ADHD which made it hard for him to focus, but I would recommend only doing this if you have/are close to someone with ADHD, like I used my brother and his behaviors when I wrote this)
— He struggled with depression due to having a lot of internalized homophobia and just general depression in eighth grade-freshman year but he kind of grew out of his shell during the summer before sophomore year and is more comfortable in himself
— I imagine this to be pretty fluffy, so it can be more of an AU and not follow the plot of hoco!
