Chapter 4

We pull up in a parking lot and immediately know where we are.

Six Flags

We get out and paid the driver.

"I can't believe you took me here." I realize I don't have a ticket."But, Matt I don't-"

He holds up a piece of paper. My ticket.

"MATTHEW LEE ESPINOSA!" I hug him and he picks me up off the ground.

A group of, like, 20 girls run up to Matt and he lets go of me.

"THAT WAS SO CUTE OMG FEELS." one of them says.

"Can we take a picture?" another ne says.

"Hey, Nic." Autumn and Alina are walking up behind me.

"How'd you get here?" I look over their shoulders.

Shawn and Jack G.

Jack mouths,"Thank you."

"You guys have passes?" I ask all four of them once they've caught up.

"Duh." Jack points to him and Shawn.

"I've lived here for 8 years." Autumn says. "Of course I do."

"I'm going to buy one right now." Alina starts to walk to the box office.

"I can do that for you.." Jack runs up to the box office and buys Alina a ticket.

"You didn't have to-" Alina starts.

"It's fine."

We hear Matt's voice and I assume he's done.

"Ready?" I ask him.

"Yeah." He puts up his hood. "Come on."

We all run in.

"Where do you guys wanna go?" I ask.

"Streaming Demon." Jack yells.

"YAAAAAS." Autumn says.

We get in line and I press my home button to turn my phone on.

I call Riley.

"Hey, Nic." She says after she picks up.

"Hey, Ri." I look at the time. 7:20. "Just letting you know, won't be to the room until, like 11?"

"As long as you have a friend with you."

"Trust me, I'll have a few."

She hangs up.

"K, ready?" Autumn's holding up her phone, taking a selfie.

I smile.

"Wait, we should get one of all of us." I say.

"Excuse me?" Alina pats a girl's shoulder and she turns around.

"Holy," she starts. "Are you-"

"Yeah, yeah." Alina rolls her eyes. "Can you take a picture of us six?"

"Sure....." She takes the picture and walks away.

When were get on the ride, it's two to a row.

Me and Matt.

Jack and Alina, who seem to get along quite well.

Shawn and Autumn.

"Ohmygodimgonnacryhelp." I yell as we're ascending and grab Matt's wrist.

"Hey, it's fine." Matt's laughing so hard.

We all scream as it's going down the steep hill.

"JACK GILINSKY I HATE YOU!!" I hear Autumn yell.

We go through a loop and I clutch Matt's wrist tighter.

"PICTURE!" Shawn screams.

I make a peace sign and Matt surprises me by planting a kiss on my cheek and putting his arms around me.

When the ride ends, Matt doesn't let go of my hand.

"It's going to be really awkward but, um, what was that?" I ask, jokingly.

"It wasn't a 'real' kiss, Nicooooole. A joke." Matt and I smile at eachother.

"You can so not tell you like eachother." Autumn says sarcastically.

We go on like two more rides then leave because lines were too long.

We hop in a cab and go back to the hotel.

"Thanks, Matt." I say.

"You're welcome, Nicooooole."

I do something every girl would dream to do.

I kiss his cheek.

"OOOOOOOOO." all the others say.

I roll my eyes and fall asleep on Matt's shoulder.
