It had been thirty-one days since Praimfaya wiped out the rest of the world. Everyday has been the same since it happened; when Clarke and Amara lost everyone. The two had each other and that was all they needed to stay somewhat sane.

Every night the brunette warrior would lay in a pile of ash and look up at the sky and try to spot the Ark. It was nearly impossible due to how small it had gotten since most of it came down the Earth. Everyday the two girls would go to where the bunker was and try to dig up everyone. The whole tower was obliterated.

Amara sat on top of a hill as she held her sword in her hands and twirled slowly. She couldn't help but think about all of the lives she had taken with this weapon. The weapon that her mentor and friend had given her. The two that weighed heavily on her heart was Luna and Roan. She couldn't help but blame herself for their deaths.

The brunette inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly as she thought about all she had lost. Never once in Amara's life had she ever felt so low and alone. She had Clarke, but she didn't feel like she truly did. She didn't think she would understand m. Truthfully, she never fully regained her trust with Clarke after she tried to lock her and the rest of her people out of the bunker.

"Amara?" Clarke interrupted Amara's thoughts, making the girl turn around and look at the blonde with the lesions on her face nearly healed. "Are you thinking again?"

"No." Amara said blankly as she turned back around the look at the burn and torn planet.

"Don't lie to me." Clarke said as she placed a hand on her friend's shoulder and sat down next to her.

"I said I'm fine, Clarke. Please just leave it at that." Amara said as she bit her lip and stood up and walked away from the blonde.

Amara inhaled deeply and stopped in her tracks as she looked over the ridge before she let out an echoing scream. Hot tears filled her eyes as the scream came to an end. Her body dropped to the ground as she hit the ground repeatedly; the outside of her hands turning bloody due to the fact she kept hitting rocks.

"You've taken everything from me! My mom, my brother, Bellamy, Ella, my dad, Raven, Roan, Lexa, Lincoln, Jasper, everyone is dead!" Amara screamed as she let out echoing sobs.

Two comforting hands grasped onto Amara's shoulders which made her lean into Clarke's body. Clarke bent down slowly and embraced her friend. Her arms wrapped around Amara as she clung tightly to her hurt friend.

"You still have me, Mars. You've always had me." Clarke whispered into the crying girl's ear as she stroked her head.

"You hurt me, Clarke. You left me out to die. From Bellamy, from Ella. You hurt me. But I guess we're even since I kept you down here. You should be with your mother." Amara whispered as Clarke wiped her tears.

"I'll never be more sorry about anything. You didn't keep me down here. Don't blame yourself for my choice, okay? We all have our consequences to face. You're not alone, Mars. You have me." Clarke said comfortingly as she cupped Amara's face with her hands.

"But that's the thing, I don't. I don't have anything. It's been thirty-one days since Praimfaya. How the hell am I supposed to do this for one-thousand-seven-hundred-and-ninety-four more days? How are we supposed to?" Amara asked which made Clarke's heart break.

"Listen to me, okay? You've been through too much to give up now. You'll see Bellamy and Ella one day. You'll see everyone again one day I promise." Clarke spoke softly so she could get Amara to calm down.

Amara squeezed her eyes right—a few hot tears rolling down her cheek—and many memories between the family and her rushing into her.

"Don't worry about me. I'm fine. It's you we need to worry about. I don't have anyone. You have your mom. Bellamy could be dead and Ella most likely is gonna hate me for leaving her. For once in my life, I need something to go right. Just once." Amara's voice broke as she finally said how she felt.

Not once has Clarke ever seen Amara so vulnerable. She didn't think anyone had seen the infamous 'Skaiheda' so weak. But there wasn't anyone left so Amara thought, 'what the hell do I have to lose?'.

"Just wait. Something will go right for you soon. It may be days from now or in years. But you're not alone." Clarke grabbed Amara's hand and gently squeezed it.

"God," Amara wiped her tears, "what would my people think if they saw me like this? I actually don't care because when we get them out of the bunker, they won't know what hit them. I just feel terrible for leaving O with my burden to bear. I shouldn't have fought in the Conclave."

"That's exactly what she always wanted to do. Ever since she first met you." Clarke stated as she gave Amara a soft smile.

Amara grabbed her sword and pulled out her smaller knife on her thigh—some things never change—and began to carve Lexa's name into the handle. She continued until everyone she had lost has covered the entire handle on her sword. On the metal part of her sword she carved the number '642' on the bottom very small.

"What's that?" Clarke asked as she ran her thumb over the carved number.

"It's how many lives I have taken or been involved in. Two being Luna and Roan." The two remained silent after it truly sunk in how much blood they each had on their own hands.

The past thirty-one days on the Ark have been rough. Everyone was sick of eating the same green stuff everyday and drinking recycled urine. No one really bothered to speak to Echo. Raven was beginning to teach Emori how to launch ships and the Ark's controls.

No one really saw much of Bellamy since they went back to the Ark. He kind of cut himself off from the group for the past month. The guilt of leaving Amara and Ella behind weighed heavily on his heart.

Bellamy laid in his bed, his body holding tightly onto the sheets and pillows as his head pounded and eyes soaked the pillow. He knew he had to be strong for her because that was exactly what she would have wanted. A small knock interrupted Bellamy from sulking. The door creaked open and Echo stuck her head in the door.

"Bellamy?" Echo called out softly as she slowly stepped in.

"Get out." Bellamy snapped.

"No one has heard from you in days. The only person you'll let in is Monty. I just wanted to check up on you." Echo said softly as she stood closely to the door.

"I said get out!" Bellamy yelled as he threw a pillow as her feet.

"I thought you should have this. I found it after the Conclave. I'm sure she'd want you to have it." Echo pulled out a small necklace with a gold bead piece—the same one Finn gave her and the same one she thought was gone.

"She thought she lost this." Bellamy said as he examined the necklace.

"Someone must have found it and kept it. I'm sorry for your loss, Bellamy." Echo stated as she watched Bellamy clutch onto the necklace tightly and bring it to his face and begin to cry more.

"Thank you, Echo. I mean it. I'm sorry, too." Bellamy whispered between his cries.

Amara was gone but not forgotten.
