A raindrop taps upon the car windshield
Butterflies dance inside my stomach
I cannot hide the smile that fills my face
And beam as my car door swings open wide
I step out and am greeted with a grin
He gently puts his arm around my back
And turns with me as cameras start to flash
The moment fills me with great excitement
To think this is only the beginning
Of a night filled with lovely memories
