"Hey Rach, I'm going to go uh head out somewhere." Alice says.
"Where are you going?"
"No where"
"If you aren't going anywhere then why are you leaving?"
"Fine, you got me there, I'm hanging with Carter."
"Ooooohhhhhhhhh, Alice has a boyfriend, Alice has a boyfriend!!!" I sing
"Shut up, I got to go, he's taking me to that new milktea place downtown."
"Have fun, but not TOO much fun."
Alice is gone...... I'm such a loner. What to do. Should I? Hm, might as well right?
Texting Convo with Cole
Me: Hey, its Rachael
Cole: Hey? You're like Jeremey's girlfriend right?
Me: Was, we kinda broke up
Cole: Oh, sorry to hear
Me: Thanks....
Cole: So how did you get my number?
Me: Uhm, Alice gave it to me
Cole: Oh, didn't know she still has my number
Me: Well, she does
Cole: Did she tell you what... uh happened?
Me: Yea... Look, I'm sorry for what happened, she's usually not like that. You'll find someone better.
Cole: Thanks, but every second I can't help but think what I want but can't have. I've just never felt this way about a girl before.
Me: C'mon don't be such a doubter.... Really, I'm sure you'll find someone better. Just try to get her out of your mind and focus on something else.
Cole: I've tried but I just can't, it was so stupid of me to go for a girl way out of my league. Like she would ever like a guy like me.
Me: Don't think that, she's just stubborn?
Cole: I appreciate that you're trying to help but she's just so perfect. We have so many things in common and idk
Me: So, what do you guys have in common?
Cole: We both like video games, basketball, and yea.
Me: You just 'met' her, how can you know the kind of things she likes, yea she likes basketball but I'm pretty sure she would rather shop than play video games. She's not all that you think she is. I agree that she's a great girl, but is she honestly "the one" for you?
Cole: I don't know...
Me: You seem like a great guy and if Alice can't realize that then screw her. Tbh, she can be a bitch sometimes but so am I, in fact, I'm probably a bigger bitch than she is so I'm in no position to judge her... Every girl is a bitch in their own way and every guy is a dick in their own way but that's just life.
Cole: Yea, I guess
*Texting convo with Jc and Jeremy*
Jc: Heyyyy Rach
Jeremy: Rachael, hey.....
Me: Uhm, may I ask why I am in this?
Jc: Well we have something to tell you, you up for ice cream?
Jeremy: Why do you get to say all of this, I thought WE were going to tell her
Jc: and WE will, I was just explaining the details, jeez
Me: Uh, okay, so see you guys in a ferw minutes I guess?
*Texting convo with Cole*
Me: Hey, sorry for not responding, I have to go, I'll text you later
Cole: K bye.
*End of all texting convos*
I throw my phone on the bed and put on a graphic tee and shorts. I grab my phone and money and head out the door.
"Okay, I got everything and I'm going to totally regret this." I whisper to myself.
