Did I want to let go?
No. I don't want to let go. And I'm gonna let him know.
"Hey, Jungkook? Do you mind if I keep holding your hand? I mean I know we're not dating or anything..." That came out shy. I was supposed to be confident.
"No, I don't really mind. I like holding your hand, Yerin." Jungkook mumbled, trying to look away from me. His cheeks were burning up. He's getting shy. I think he's adorable.
"Jungkook, I like holding your hand, too." I smiled at him. Then, Jungkook looked up at me and blushed even further and I chuckled. "Aw, Jungkook, you are so cute when you blush. Why are you blushing so much?"
"You." He mumbled once more.
"Me. What about me?"
"You are so being so kind and friendly to me. Even though you only met me today."
"Jungkook, I told you. I want to be your friend. Don't you want to be my friend?"
"Yes, I do and I'm just happy about this. I can't believe someone actually cares about me, enough to start a conversation with me, wait 15 minutes for me after school and take me to the arcade, while holding my hand. Are you not going to leave me?"
"Like everyone else?"
"Jungkook. I care about you because I saw a lonely boy with no friends. I'm your friend now and I'm not leaving anytime soon. Ok?" I squeeze his hand a little in hopes of comforting him. He looked at me.
"Ok."
"Now please smile. We're going to the arcade and we're going to have fun!"
He chuckled, "Ok." And he smiled.
"You have a beautiful smile. You need to do it more often." I thought aloud.
"I think I will." He smiled even further.
