So we played the motorbike race thingy game and Jungkook was naturally so good at the game, he kept on beating me.
"Yerin, stop crashing into the walls and come and catch me!" He exclaimed. "Look, I'm even waiting for you to catch up." Stopping his motorbike in the middle of the race track and sipping the real life Cola he bought whilst waiting for our turn.
"Agh, Jungkook! I'm gonna catch uppp! See! See! I'm reversing, look! Yess! I'm gaining on you. I'm might even beat you!" I even teased him slightly. But in truth I was a long way away from the finish line.
Jungkook hurriedly put his Cola away and resumed back to the game. "Hey, not on my watch! No way am I gonna lose to a beginner!" I look over at him, and see Jungkook so focused on winning the game. His eyebrows furrowed, his tongue sticking out of the corner of his mouth and his eyes glued onto the screen; well damn, he must really want to win.
So I continue to try my hardest to catch up, only pressing buttons that I needed to press, in order to catch up. The acceleration bar on the screen was full. I spam my thumb on the button and watch my motorbike speed ahead until I finally see Jungkook's bike on my screen.
"I SEE YOUU JUNGKOOK!" My motorbike wasn't letting me speed up anymore, which was disappointing. I thought I could win this.
"NOO! YOU WILL NEVER BEAT ME, YERIN!"
We continued to shout childish things at each but in the end Jungkook won the race. We were almost neck and neck, but he still won. We played a few more rounds like this. Unfortunately, Jungkook kept beating me. Well, I was terrible at winning games.
But at least I was winning at this game.
Winning his trust.
