Red Wedding

Finally, the day we all have been waiting for has arrived. The hall is filled with rich and influential people, drinking wine and talking about future business plans. As if its just a normal business meeting. 

I can see the person called my father talking to a group of 'noble' men. He turns my way, but before he could spot me, I duck down, crawling my way past him. This situation reminds of the past...

My mother used take me to the office to show how things worked claiming that I will be inheriting this company one day. But one day he heard about that and made his way towards my mothers cabin. My mother made crawl under her table and asked me to be quite.

As soon as he came him, he started shouting. My mothers belongings were thrown off the table a loud slap was heard. My 7 year old self was too stunned to move.

Mr. Kim left the office saying that he wants a son and that I am not worthy of being the 'heir'. After he left, I started crying uncontrollably. My mother who was quite till now scoots down to pick me up and wiping my tears say "Big girls don't cry Y/N. Remember this company is yours only and when you are old enough, I hope you take your rightful place."

Shaking my head at the unpleasant memories and promises. I make it a rule to avoid that man the whole time. He can keep his filthy company for all I care.

Making my way towards Tae and Rishi who were invited from the bride side, I get worried at Tae's expression. He seemed agitated and Rishi was whispering to him "I'll kill you before killing her if you ruin my best friend's plan." "We can kill him now if you want." I say nonchalantly.

Gasping, Tae is quick to reply "It would be better than dying of shame of being guilty of a crime I never committed." Smacking his shoulder, Rishi says "This guy is being paranoid over here. I told him Nana won't recognize him and even if she does I sharpened my knife today morning only. She'll be dead before she tries to lay a hand on my man again."
The look in her eye is deadly. I and Tae both shiver at that and before she gets creepier I excuse myself saying that I need to talk Hobi, leaving an even more agitated Tae.

Calling Hobi, I'm relieved to hear that he has parked some distance away making our get away car ready. Everyone was in their positions. Jin was in the kitchen. RM was serving as a waiter and Yoongi was looking through the CCTV. And the key role, kookie was hacked into the projector room.

People were going up and giving speeches about how they saw the couple grow up and shit and how they'll miss them not being bachelors anymore. The entire time, Jimin was keeping an eye on Kang Woo who seemed relaxed even when Nana was practically throwing her love sick daggers at him.

Security was tight making sure, paparazzi's don't come in and only personally hired photographers were clicking pictures and shooting video. But hey we had the hotel owner on our side, and last minute changes had helped us a lot as they created loopholes in the security.

Just before the ring ceremony, everyone gathered together to see the journey the couple had together. The slide which Chiyo had shown me before consisted of fake candid posed photographs.

That was no 'arranged come love marriage'. I could practically see the sorrow hiding behind her smile even in the pictures.

But that was not the slide that was gonna play. No more fakeness as only the purest of truth will be shown today.

On my cue the projector started, displaying what they had not expected. Hell even I didn't expect that all the frauds, each and every one of them done by Kang industries will be revealed today.

Wait... That wasn't in plan...

And just like that the wedding turned exactly the color of my 500$ Versace dress, blood red. As the wave of disaster hit leaving every person in this room in utter shock and anger.

It truly looked like a red wedding to me...
