Ocean, Sun and Star

Fresh evening breeze ruffled my hair. It was a disastrous day for me.

Yeah, I might look like I'm made up of steel or some kind of super woman but even I have a heart. Heart that has a tendency to send a stabbing pain once in a while.

You must be wondering, what happened that could make the mighty y/n's heart sting in pain.

It wasn't the threats or the lies that my family, family that long ago abandoned me, that broke me. It was the person whom I trusted, whom I loved whole heartedly for ages that shattered me.

After my father stated the fact that he has decided to tie fate strings of Chiyo and Jimin, I had no intention to back away but rather fight for my love and my family.

But what startled me was the arrival of Jimin himself, along his father. His eyes from which I seeked support were empty, as he simply agreed to the marriage without even glancing towards me.

The stabbing pain from before intensified when he did look towards me, and just told us to leave or he will take legal action.

I hate to cry infront of anybody, but I was on the brink of breaking down infront of him. Namjoon who was besides me was gonna say something, but I just stopped him. And walked out without even glancing towards the man I loved, whom I believed would love me too.

As soon as we got into the car, the throbbing pain in my head increased and slowly but surely water droplets dripped down.

To help me calm down, Joonie brought me besides sea. Saying that it helps him regain his composure.

And did I not agree with him, as I sat on the roof of the car watching the crimson orb taking a dip in the ocean which reflected the beauty of sun. Unlike me, atlest the ocean refected it's loved ones in his eyes, unlike him. How ironical.

Climbing besides me, RM passed a cup of butterscotch ice cream and sat while eating his own. The cool and sweet taste of ice cream rolled on my tongue calming the throbbing pain in my head and heart.

"Feel better now?"

Nodding I continue eating scoop by scoop enjoying the scenery.

We both sat there in silence, enjoying what nature offered us. With each second of the sun disappearing the temperature around me kept increasing. Soon the crimson orb became one with the indigo waters marking the end of their mating session.

Finally breaking the silence, Namjoon asked"wanna talk about it?"

"Hmm, I don't Jonnie... Just the look in his eyes... They just broke my heart."

"I know... But whenever I've seen his eyes they only reflected you in them. Just like the sun and ocean."

A sniker escapes my lips," he doesn't even remember me. "

"He doesn't but he will. Maybe trigger some kind of switch at the right moment?"

"Switch?"

"Yup... But what that switch will be... It is for you to figure out."

"So you mean..I should continue trying?"

He flashed me a smile highlighting his cute dimples. This man sure is smart as hell.

Giggling I look away at the stary sky, "seriously you could be one of my best friends."

Humming he murmers in a low audible tone, "I guess I'm like the stars, invisible when the sun is out. I can see the ocean but never touch it. How sad."

"Namjoon?"

Shaking his head he said, "but I will always look at the ocean and protect it. Shall we go, it's kinda getting cold."

"Sure" it was dark but I could see a hint in his eyes.

Driving back, he asked "anyway what's the plan... Are you ok planning on kidnapping the groom this time?" He giggled a bit.

"Nah... I've learned my lesson." I laughed at his humor.

Raising his brows he asked," which is?"

"That they won't give a fu*k about anybody's emotions no matter what."

"Ok..ayy"

I knew he was confused.

"The only way to stop them is by stopping their bullsh*t from inside."

"And how on Earth are you planning to do that?"

I look outside, smiling "I guess I need to reclaim my throne."
