(Forewarning this is a long chapter. I apologize for taking so long to release this. I tried hard. Anyways there is violence in this chapter. But if you have come from The Fallen Ones book 1 then you're probs not bugged by it. I've been busy with finals, school, and other crap. Also, I'm going to the How Did We Get Here Tour in August. EEEEEEE!!!!! SO excited. Anyways love ya'll see you next chapter!)

Mark stared in disbelief, still trying to process what Jack had said. Anti was back? Since when. It had to have been recently right? Right? Of course, Jack would've told me. I'm certain of that. He thought to himself. His brow furrowed in thought as he went over Jack's request, finally after a long pause, he spoke.

"You want, Anti to speak peacefully with Dark?" He emphasized his words thoroughly.

Jack nodded, seemingly unsure of it himself. He sighed and his shoulders slumped, "I know it seems crazy, but just this once? Trust me?" His eyes pleaded. A hint of that neon green behind them.

Mark sighed, and resigned himself. Allowing Dark to take control, who was genuinely surprised at the sudden change in control. Sean had grown paler, one eye a neon green, and the other black. He cocked his head slightly. Looking up at Dark.

"Been a while," the words caught in Anti's throat, slightly afraid of what Dark might do. Anti was weak, his power drained. He was vulnerable.

Dark's face was stone, only those crimson eyes showing any hint of emotion, anger. He curled his lip back in a snarl, "Yes it has, Clover," he hissed.

Anti stiffened, trying to remain composed, "I only wanted to speak, not toss around insults like a blundering fool."

Dark's eyes narrowed, "Yet you choose to show your face around here. After going behind the Councils back, killing a human, and disappearing from your host for nearly a month? However, you have the nerve to show your face around here?"

Anti held his gaze, taking every harsh word calmly. He took a few breaths before speaking again, "I don't want this to turn ugly. I just wanted to talk. One on one, face to face. Maybe recover something."

Dark's face scrunched up angrily, his nose wrinkling, and lips curling backwards, "Restore what? Our relationship? As if, please Clover, move on."

"STOP CALLING ME THAT" Anti shouted, louder than he meant to, then quiter, "Please Dark."

Dark let out a low chuckle, "now, now, you don't want to go waking our guest, do you?"

"This isn't about her. Or Mark, Jack, or anyone else. This is between you and me." Anti stood tall, attempting to match Dark's height, still several inches shorter. "Why can't you just listen?"

"Why can't I listen? Like you have any sort of right to tell me that! Your presence here alone is a violation of the law. Your interaction with me could get me killed. And yourself. But you don't even care, do you?! You never cared Clover. We broke apart long before the intention body guard separation. But you just can't let go, can you?" Dark screamed furiously, slightly out of breath afterwards.

Anger welled inside Anti's chest, "I tried so hard! I wanted things to work! I LOVED YOU. But you don't really care about me, do you? You walk around with your head up your arse and say I'm in the wrong. But you restrict me by the throat. But I'm still on yours and the councils dumb leash."

Dark's calm nature dropped, he growled, "If I were you I would step back into line. You may be in hiding, but you're on thin ice right now."
