It's raining, it's raining
The pretty girl said
Cuddled up with her lover
Snuggling in bedWorry not my dear
Her strong lover replied
We'll always be warm
If we stay insideSo the lovebirds slowly
Fell asleep
Dreaming of fantasies
And counting sheepThey cherished their love
And what it brought
Their fate was secure
Or so they thoughtOne broken heart
And then split into two
No longer 'us'
Just 'me' and 'you'Who would've thought
So many lies could be told
Who would've thought
Their mutual love would turn oldNow so many tears
Have been shed
Just like the rain before
But now it's sunny insteadIt's Raining, it's raining
The naive girl cried
He said it's warmer in bed
But I guess he lied
