I never put a real thought into my feelings about Devan but, he's my everything. I've had a miserable time without him, now that I have him in my grasp, I'm not letting him go.
He stopped dead in his tracks. His breath heaved his back up and down. I could hear the snickering and giggles of the girls around us. I was only focusing on him and I. He spun around quickly running over to me and he pressed his warm, pink lips to mine. I was shocked at what he did. He held me tightly, one arm around my waist, and the other holding the back of my neck, pressing me to him. Closing the gap between us, I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling myself up to stand on my tippy toes to reach his height.
It's a simple kiss, though full of love and passion. Our lips moving in perfect sync. No tongue, just simple lips, and pure bliss. I smiled as he kept pressing himself against me. The world seemed to disappear around us.
I broke the kiss as my thumb stroked his cheek, wiping away the tear that seeped from his pure, blue eyes. Tears fell from mine. "Hazel." He whispered. His forehead rested on mine.
We breathed heavily from the lack of oxygen.
My hands fell to his chest as his rose to my face, holding my pink cheeks. "Hazel." He smiled through the tears pouring silently. I smiled at him.
"Devan." I whispered back. His warm breath grazed my lips as our noses brushed against eachother. "Oh my god." He whispered. We both laughed a little.
"I'm sorry. I'm so so so sorr-" I gripped his long-sleeved, black shirt and pulled his lips onto mine. I cut him off before he could spill his apologies to me.
"There's nothing to be sorry about." I said lightly. "But there is." His whisper lingered on my lips. "I love you." His lips brushed mine as he said that. A hand ran back up his neck as his hands returned to my waist.
"You're never leaving my side, ever again." He whispered, squeezing my hips. "You're never leaving my sight." His eyes scanned my face. He kissed my nose lightly. "I love you." I whispered. "Always have, always will." I finished. His breath left his mouth quickly before his lips intertwined with mine again.
"Devan!" a voice said behind us, sounding almost like his mom. He broke away quickly, turning his head around creating a loud kissing sound. His warmth lingered on my lips.
My gaze switched from Devan's crystal eyes, to his mother's.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Mom, it's Hazel." He stated.
Her hand covered her mouth as she approached me quickly.
"Hazel!" She gripped me tightly.
Devan still had his hand attached to mine, gripping it tightly.
I hugged Mrs. Muchnij tightly.
"It's good to see you, honey." She rubbed my shoulders. "I can see you and Devan have been reacquainted." She wiggled her eyebrows on 'reacquainted'. Devan had let go of my hand to wrap it around my waist.
We giggled.
"We'll talk later." She said and walked away.
"Wow, ok, um..." One of the girls said. I forgot we just kissed in front of all these girls...
Devan and I blushed. I looked up at him. His eyes sparkled. My stomach was full of butterflies.
He grabbed my hand intertwining our fingers without braking his gaze. He kissed my forehead. We quickly walked out and laughed.
"God, I've missed you." I wrapped my hand around his arm and I leaned my head on his shoulder.
