"HIS GAME,
I DONT GET IT
BUT YOU KNOW THAT I'M JUST ABOUT TO FALL". . .
She couldn't do it.
So instead of going to the clearing with her pack brother's, Ryan stayed home. She attempted to distract herself with baking, TV and drinking. And it was impossible. She wanted to see Emmett, even if it was just for a few moments. But she swallowed her urges and laid in her soft bed blasting sad music.
She couldn't hate him. Emmett was just to- Emmetty. His smile gave her goosebumps, his eyes made her feel so calm and his voice was mesmerizing. She couldn't hate him and that really pissed her off.
But her emotions were more important that her mind. She needed to understand that her feeling were important. Ryan was important. And if some guy wasn't making her feel that way, was it really worth it?
No. That was the answer.
But he was her imprint. He was the reason her world turned, the reason oxygen filled her lungs. Emmett was her person. But he would have to fight for her. Always. No matter the circumstance. He would have to see that Ryan was more than some toy. She was more than some girl he could play games with.
Ryan Uley was important.
The teenager sighed loudly, pacing her bedroom. Her heart was beating so fast and she couldn't understand why. Maybe Emmett was in danger- or her brother. But it was most likely she was just being dramatic. But what if she wasn't, and this was some sort of wolf instinct. They had been gone for a few hours now, something must've gone wrong. Right?
Ryan ran down her stairs, pushing through the front door, yelling a goodbye to Emily. And she was off on two legs. She bolted through the forest, knowing exactly where everyone was. She saw everyone slowly heading out, she had just missed the important meeting. Her breathing was staggered.
"Ryan?" Jacob yelled, running towards the girl, he was currently shirtless and covered in sweat, but why was the question. Jacob lightly grabbed Ryan's hand, taking her weight. "Ry we're just heading out, do you want me to take you home? You missed everything. Are you okay? Did you run all the way here?"
The girl sucked in a large breath, dramatically weighing her arms on her knee's. "I-was-worried. You-guys-were-gone-for-so-long."
"They were giving us some tips, we have newborn vampires coming after Bella." Jacob whispered, noticing the glare of Emmett.
"So?" Ryan rolled her eyes. "What the fuck is going on? Why are we getting involved in a vampires problem?" Ryan grumbled. It was always Bella this, Bella that. Why couldn't it ever be Ryan this, Ryan that? Like how unfair.
