" What do you mean?" The t.i.c asked calmly as he folded his servos behind his back struts. The femme glared at him and jumped up, shoving the mech our of the way. When she saw the generator's setting she gasped.

" You idiot!" She seethed angrily as she returned everything to its normal setting.

The past paced hum of the machine slowed dramaticly as the robotic arm recoiled to the.ceiling. The cop's optic flashed with frustration.

" I did that for a reason." The battle strategist snapped as he stood by her side tapping the panel with a digital. Airstrike frowned and crossed her servos across her chassis.

" Why? To get us all killed?!"

Prowl made a scoffing noise and tilted his helm back.

" Why in Primus would I do that?! Its illogical. I want to get off this planet, don't you?"

" Of course." She hissed shoving him back slightly. " But I want to get off alive!"

" And we can only accomplish that If we have the power on normal levels so I can send a distress signal!!" Prowl growled, becoming frustrated at the femme.

" AND BY DOING THAT YOU SLAGGING SEALED OUR DOOM!!!" The airel bot yelled, losing all patience. " JUST BY RAISING THE ENERGY LEVEL FOR A NANO SECOND, YOU'VE PRETTY MUCH INVITED A PACK OF VALGS OVER FOR DINNER!!!"

" You never mentioned that this planet had Valgs." The mech said seriously, his features hardening. The femme sneered and turned turned away from him, giving a cold shoulder.

" You never asked." She spat harshly. Next to her Steelclamp sat with a smug look. His plan was working perfectly. Now all his master had to do was kick him out, and everything would go back to normal.

Prowl pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed.

" Primus, I didn't think I would have to ask if there was a hazardous creature that lived on the the same planet that you and I so happened to be stranded on!"  The battle strategist groaned. " So if their already coming, just let me reset the energy level and make a distress call, and we'll fight them off while we wait."

The orange and white femme huffed and buried her face plate in her servos.

" You don't understand!" She growled. " They're going to send a small fleet to check out this signal. If any come back they'll send the entire hive. But if its strong enough for their queen to sense it she'll send them all. And that's why we can't. That many will kill us!! Their all blind but they read energy! And their overly fond of our energy!" She yelled. " SO STOP THINKING ABOUT YOURSELF!! I WOULD LOVE TO LEAVE! BUT I DON'T WANT TO BE ESCORTED OFF THIS PLANET IN A BODY BAG!!! PRIMUS PR-"

A low growl erupting from Steelclamps throat cut her off. The cyber dog slowly hunched down and stalked to the entrance. Prowl shot Airstrike a concerned look, one which she returned.

"They're coming." The femme said in a hushed voice. " Lets go. We can't let them any where near the energon."

Prowl was about to demand a explanation, but the airel bot and her pet took off before he could * cough * * cough * ask.

Growling and extremely frustrated, the mech took off after the two.

After miraculously reaching the main level of the ship without getting lost or killed, the mech noticed the others were in battle stance at the entrance of her giant crashed cruiser. Swiftly but quietly,  he made his way to her side and looked off into the distance.

" What exactly are we looking for?" He asked, pulling out his aged but handy blaster. The femme shot him a cold glare.

" You'll hear them coming." She said bluntly with a frown. Although his face showed nothing, he mentally sighed.

" What about the dog?" He asked, jerking his helm towards the growing animal. " How'd he know they were coming."

" He's a dog sir." Airstrike said with forced respect. " He has an excellent sense of smell." She answered as she pulled a large energon blaster from a subspace. A small click was heard indicating that her weapon was set to kill. The battle strategist sighed and did the same thing.

Out of nowhere a ear pricing scream filled the ship. It sounded horrid, worse then Jazz's singing. It was like a elephant who was having a baby imitating a ambulance.

Pretty much he would never forget that sound. But what he saw next would be permanently imbeded into his processors.

It was a gray color, with a copper colored head, but without eyes. It under skin was scaled like a snake, and its limbs had deadly sharp hook like claws. The most terrifing thing about it, was its tail. It was snake like, but with razor pinchers at the end, like a scorpion, only a leech like mouth came from that and suched the life force right from you're body.

" Give me a update." The mech ordered. The femme gave a sharp nod and pointed.

" The first one is always a scout. Its weeker then the rest and easier to kill. There will be four more after that. Three females protecting the male, who is I'm fact the strongest. Take him out the rest will leave but will come back with reinforcements."

The battles strigist nodded and aimed his weapon.

" Where's the week spot?"

" The neck. Remember to stay clear of the tail."

Prowl huffed in acknowledgement and watched as the femme knelt next to her pet and whisper something into his audio receptor. When she was done, the cyber dog took off at full speed, running towards the valg. On sensing his energy, the valg screamed and launched itself at him. The first thing the mutt did was bite it's tail. With as much force as he could muster, steelclamp used all his might as he bit the creature. With a satisfying crack, the pincher of the valg fell limp, causing it to bend over in pain, hissing wildly as it did so. Seeing that it left its week spot open, the cyber dog took the opportunity to go for the kill. Snarling fiercely, the dog leaped and bit it's neck. Although it was much taller, Steelclamp's death grip never faltered, even as the valg repeatedly hit his sides with its hook like hands. Screaming madly, the creature fell to its knees, suffication getting the better of it. This only encouraged the cyber dog to keep adding more pressure. After several minutes, the valg's scout collapsed...dead. To make sure, Steelclamp growled and ripped opened the throat, causing green acidic blood to spill all over the stoney ground. Whimpering slightly from the burning blood on his snout, the cyber dog looked to his master, wagging his tail proudly.

The airel bot was about to praise her pet, until the dark shadow of a valg covered the animal.

" Clamp!!" The femme shouted in warning. But it didn't come fast enough, the creature was already on top of him. The mutt whined in fear and shut his optics preparing for the strike.

But it never came. The cyber dog opened one optic to see large hole blasted into the valg.

" Nice shot." Airstrike said in surprise as the mech beside her lowered his weapon.

" Thank you." The t.i.c said evenly.

" I still hate you." The femme added with a growl. Prowl only shrugged.

" Likewise." He responded. " The other two females are coming. You take the dog and take them down. I'll take the other."

Airstrike nodded in agreement and whistled sharply, which resulted in Steelclamp bounding behind her as and disappeared into the dark. The battles strategist kept a straight face.

This valg was going down.
