I lay on my bed and suddenly feel something on top of me, I open my eyes to see my brother the Lord zouci. He's staring at me shaking me.

I ask annoyed "What is it bro?"

His face turns into a huge grin as he says " It's the day you join crows little brother."

I groan in annoyance. I don't like guilds especially ones with family it makes things complicated I'm more of a lone wolf but in agony I say " Fine let's go to your silly guild"

His face turns dark as he starts lecturing me about how it's not silly and bullshit like that. We walk out the door and start walking to the guild, the town is as dead as usual no one comes out anymore after the incident.

In the middle of the side walk waits a young girl with long black hair, brown eyes, and white wings of course it's Angel those two are like glued together.
She walks over to us and kisses zouci and says " Hey babe. Hi Zeus"

I wave like usual. We walk I'm just silent as they talk and talk and talk god I hate third wheeling but nothing can be done about it. We walk for what feels like an eternity until we reach the black building with a red crow as it's symbol. We walk into the building and inside are multiple people chatting arguing and just being people.

I poke my brother and say " I don't think this is a good idea. I mean what if they treat me like the others?"

Zouci smiles at me and says " Don't worry about it they are all good people. Well except for Cuffs you should watch out for him."

I look at him confused my lightning yellow hair falling into my eyes and yes I'm adopted. He ignores me and shoves me into the middle ending the chatter. I stand there like an idiot and don't say a word until a girl walks up to me.

She has long blue hair and greenish blue eyes she smiles at me sweetly and asks " Are you the new member?"

I nod my head still not saying a word as people start flocking around me giving names and human stuff like that. I lie and say my name is Zues and shake their hands.

The girl I was talking to earlier walks up to me and says " Nice to meet you I'm Proxy. I hope you like it here." She smiles again and walks away.

Zouci walks over to me and shows me the ropes. I walk to the board of jobs and find the hardest one.

I grab a piece of paper that says "five person mission. U must kill the hexes in the forest near the outskirts of the city. The reward is 800 gold" I stare at the paper and swiftly grab my spears and walk out the door alone. I think to myself " I don't need anyone I can do this on my own" I smirk as I reach the forest. The forest is full of dead things and smells like it to, then I hear rustling nearby. I ready one of my spears and then I feel pain I look down and see a sword through my chest. I black out.

When I come to the creatures around me are dead and the forest looks even worse. I also notice four people there, I grab my spear and aim it at the people who look at me. I soon realize my brother and proxy are with the other two.

Zouci hugs me and says " We where so worried"

I chuckle and say " There's no need I can handle myself"

a boy with short blonde hair walks forward along with him is a neko with black hair and blue eyes.

The boy says " I'm neo this is my girlfriend lilkat."

Great another couple I think to myself. After that we head back to the guild and go to sleep.
