Casey's Kiss

Chuck kept her promise. She stayed away, watched from a distance as her trio continued on with their normal and secret lives. Longing glances from Chuck were always directed at Casey, and even though she always tried to be conspicuous, Casey was one of the top NSA agents, he noticed.

He noticed her yearning stares, the shift of personality from a chill, laid-back girl to an introvert whenever he was around, and despite how often it happened, he was always surprised with her sudden bursts of harsh sarcasm.

Their distance was slowly destroying them, more than either of them could ever imagine. "Hey Chuck, Casey?" Sarah asked, stuffing her phone into her handbag after replying to a text.

Casey grunted but continued to use the thin brush to scrub the barrel of his disassembled Glock 19.

Saying goodbye to Morgan and wishing him good luck on his date with Alex, she pocketed her phone, pulling on her jacket while turning on the spot. "Ya, Sarah?" She asked, taking note of the blondes grin. She noticed her best girl friend had been giddy all day, but it had luckily not interfered with their work.

"I've got to go, so Casey will have to train you himself tonight." She said quickly while running up the stairs toward the exit.

"Train?" Chuck asked, looking between her two former handlers in confusion. "What training?"

Casey let out a loud growl as he scrubbed into the barrel harder. Her training had completely slipped his mind. With everything going on with Shaw, Alex, Alex and Morgan, his mind was in a scramble.

Sarah halted in her climb before turning to look down at the clueless Chuck who still stood at the bottom of the staircase with a dumbfounded look. "Casey didn't tell you?"

Chuck silently shook her head, not daring to look at the only man in the room.

Sarah directed a small glare in Casey's direction but opted to sigh ruefully instead of prying. She knew something was off about those two, but as much as she loved them, she knew they had to work it out on their own.

"Since you're no longer our Asset, but an Agent now, we can train you." Sarah quickly explained.

Chuck's face went slack as her mouth took an "O" shape.

"Anyway, good luck!" Sarah wished before turning once more and running out the door.

A low growl rumbled from the back of Casey's throat. Leave it up to Walker to ditch me with the nerd.

"You're growling." Chuck pointed out as she turned to face him. Her expression was blank, but her beautiful chocolate eyes swirled with mixed emotions.

The rumbling came to a halt as Casey looked up at her, impressed with how passive she seemed. "Hurry up and get ready, I'll be in the sparring room." Casey snipped before beginning the process of reassembling his Glock.

Chuck clenched her jaw but nodded silently nonetheless. Sighing ruefully, she walked down the hall and into her room to change.

About thirty minutes later, Casey was already in the sparring room in his gray sweatpants and black Nike's. He grabbed two boas from a rack as he heard Chuck entering.

Turning back around, a lump formed in his throat as he caught sight of her.

Her long chocolate hair was in a high ponytail, her dark curls resting against her nearly bare back. She wore a hot pink sports bra, showing a sliver of cleavage. Her tight stomach was defined and beautiful, her tight short shorts resting just on her hips and conforming perfectly to her hips, against her round cheeks, and- Growl.

To put it simply, it left little to the imagination.

His grip on the boas tightened as she walked over silently in gray Nike's. "What're we doing?" She asked quietly, rubbing her arms self-consciously.

"You already know hand-to-hand combat because of Devon and I, correct?" He asked, holding out one of the boas to her.

"Ya," She mumbled softly, grabbing the boa that Casey offered.

"Good," He muttered in response before quickly bringing his upper boa end down on hers.

Wide-eyed, she let out a gasp as her grip tightened and she took a step back in surprise. "Casey!" She exclaimed, looking up from where their boas met to Casey's hardened gaze.

"What?" He barked harshly as he pulled his boa back quickly and swung for her head.

A small squeal burst through her lips as she dropped down. "Casey, stop!"

"Stop what? I'm teaching you." His breathing was even as he made his boa go round and swing down on her.

Terrified, she quickly leaped forward, landing to the right, behind of Casey. She quickly jumped up, holding her boa defensively as she stared at Casey.

Spinning around, Chuck saw Casey's dark eyes. Not his usually calm blue-green ones, but so many negative emotions. Frustration, anger, fear, rage, grief, and so many more.

A barrage of swings and hits fell upon Chuck as she struggled to fight back. So focused on defending herself, she didn't realize he was beginning to corner her until it was too late. Her back slammed against the white wall as she held the boa in her hands, parallel.

He growled out as stood towering over her, his hard glare causing her to whimper and shrink. He took notice of the small tears beginning to form in her eyes as they shimmered with...

Fear.

His gaze softened as he saw the terrified emotion that drowned her entire form. Pain wrapped around his heart and squeezed, hard.

"C-Casey?" She whimpered, stilling holding the boa in her hands with a steel grip, knuckles white.

Letting go of his own boa, guilt punched him in the gut as he saw her flinch. Slowly, his hands reached up and began to pry her fingers off, one by one until he held the boa and her hands were at her sides, all the while maintaining eye contact.

His movements were jerky ans hesitant as he raised a hand to her cheek. Rubbing the corner of her eye with her thumb, the guilt and pain lessened slightly as he heard her sigh and she leaned into his hold. He watched her shoulders lowered and body relaxed.

"I'm sorry." He whispered.

Her eyelids fluttered open as she looked at him in confusion. "Why were you mad?" She asked softly.

His gaze rose so he looked at the wall above her head, anything to see the emotions swirling in her chocolate eyes, "I... I was angry, frustrated, and-" He couldn't find the words, "... Screw it." Looking into her gaze, he quickly leaned forward and laid his lips onto hers.

His other hand shot to her waist to hold her in place while he felt her own hand rest on the one on her cheek and her other one was placed on his neck.

Their lips moved fluidly against each other before Casey pressed her against the wall and bit her bottom lip, causing her to moan. Their bodies were flush before Casey pulled his head back and allowed them to breath.

Their breaths were heavy and shallow, but that didn't stop Chuck from smiling softly, a glisten forming in the corners of her eyes. "You missed me, Major Casey?" She asked teasingly, raising her hand from his neck to rub his cheek.

A small smile slipped onto his lips and he breathed lightly, "Ya, I missed you."

Leaning in, he gave her another kiss. Filled with love, care, fading quilt, and peace.

Peace. Because in that moment, they were satisfied and they held each other in a loving embrace, not wanting the moment to end.
