The Arrival

Mary's point of view:
"Mary what's wrong?" Greer asked "Nothing" I said "Mary, I know you. What's wrong?" She asked again "It's just that I have heard rumors.. about Francis" I said "What kind of rumors?" Kenna asked "That he has a mistress Olivia" I said "I'm sorry Mary" Greer said "Well I guess I couldn't expect him to wait for me until I came back from convent." I said "No Mary don't put this on yourself. Francis is his own man and responsible for his own actions." Kenna said "I know but still" I said then we heard trumpets and got out of the carriage. "Do you see Francis?" Greer asked "Is that him?" Kenna asked "No that's Bash, Henry's son with Diane." I said "Oh" she replied. Then Cathrine walked up to us "Mary darling it's so good to see you again!" She said then hugged me "I have missed you too Cathrine" I smiled "Queen Mary" Henry bowed his head "Oh Henry there no need for formalities!" I said smiling "Mary we have missed you at court. No one here makes me laugh." He laughed. Henry always favored me. He thought of me like his own daughter. "Well then good thing I'm back. A unhappy king is not a good king." I said. He smiled at me. "Your Grace" Bash bowed his head "Please call me Mary" I said "Bash" he replied "Who's this?" He asked "Oh um me?" Kenna asked "Yes you" he smiled "Oh uh im Kenna" she blushed "It's very nice to meet you" Bash said then kissed her hand, that made her blush even more. "Where francis?" I asked "Oh um you see" Cathrine said then Henry interrupted her "he's very sorry that he wasn't able to welcome you" he said "Oh I will just see him tonight then." I said "Yes" He replied "Well I'm going to settle into my chambers then take sterling for a walk" I said "just to clear my head a little" I added "Of course Mary let us know anything we can do for you" Henry said. I bowed my head and smiled then got settled and took sterling into the woods.
Francis's point of view:
I don't want to marry Mary. I want to be free the rest of my life but apparently I can't. I understand I'm a prince and I'm going to be king. I want to be king. But I didn't want to get married. It would feel wrong having a wife but sleeping with other women. But if I wasn't married then that wouldn't be an issue. I mean I had a mistress, Olivia, but she only wanted to because I'm the future king of France. Not for me. She can say she loves me all she wants but I don't believe her. I have never said I love you to her. I don't. That would be fair to her. She understands our relationship. That makes me sound disgusting but I'm not. I'm just like every other man in France, I like to have sex. There's nothing wrong with that. I mean when I was little I liked Mary but she's changed. I mean she probably has. I skipped her welcoming ceremony and went on a walk in the woods. I didn't want to see her. I was scared that I would actually like her and she wouldn't like me. I don't know why. Then a dog came out of no where and ran to me. "Sterling come back here!" I heard someone yell. A woman cane out from the trees. She's very beautiful. "I'm so sorry" she said "It's okay. Sterling right?" I said "Yes that's his name" she smiled "He's a very good looking hound. Where did you get him?" I asked "Thank you. And he was a gift for my 8th birthday." She said "Oh" I said "Well I better be on my way." She said "Wait" I said "Do you want to go for a walk?" I asked "I don't see why not" she smiled. I smiled back. "So what are you out here escaping?" I asked "Um my fiancé actually" she said "Who's your fiancé?" I asked "Lets just say he's someone very important." I said "Um okay. Well why are you avoiding him?" I asked "I'm pretty sure he hates me. I mean it's not my fault he's being forced to marry me I mean as much as I would actually like to have a relationship with him I don't think he wants that." She said "Well that mans a fool if he doesn't want you as his wife." I said "You flatter me" she giggled "What are you out here hiding from?" She asked "It's just girl issues" I said "Well I'm a girl. Let me help" she said "So she's coming back I feel like she's not going to like me but at the same time I don't want to marry her because I don't want to be tied down." I said "Well I think you should give her a chance. You don't know unless you try. And besides the worse she can say is no. Also if you don't want to be 'tied down' then your like every other man" she said "Well that definitely gives me something to think about" I smiled. She smiled back then I heard horns coming from the castle. "I'm sorry I have to go" she said "Wait are you coming to the ball tonight?" I asked "Well it is in my honor. It would be rude if I didn't attend." She giggled "Your Mary?" I asked "Yes. And you are?" I asked "Um uh John" I said. God I'm such a coward. "Well um uh John I will see you later" she giggled. I laughed. "Goodbye!" She said as she walked back into the woods. "Goodbye" I said. I can't believe that's Mary. I expected her to be stuck up and rude. But she was so sweet and down to earth. What the hell am I going to do at the ball?
Hey guys!! So I had some inspo to start a new frary story and this ones gonna be a little different then my other stories. (As you can tell by the first chapter) but I'm really excited to right this story and I hope you all enjoy!
