chapter 3

"I-I" I could not get the words out to tell him what had happened he had never even talked to me before this why would he care? That's the question that keep replaying in mind.

After about 2 minutes of me not replying Owen got tired and just walked off seeing as he knew he was not gonna get far. Cole on the other had stayed with me and keep telling me it was gonna be okay.

"Alex.." Cole said I looked up at him and he just keep quiet till he asked the question I knew was coming.

"Why did he hit you.. I understand if you don't want to tell me now but I need to know.." he looked behind me at something and his eyes seem to harden I looked back an there was Jase just standing there with a bruise on his jaw acting as if nothing happened.

I turned around as I hear my name being called just to see my other best friend running twards me let me introduce you to Liss she is about 5'7 she is blond with blue eyes she has alot of friends but don't act stuck up like the rest of them.

Just as she comes running up to us she stops as if just now seeing Cole standing next to me she smiled and said "hey" to him he just smiled back at her. She looked at me then looked at him so I took this as I needed to introduce them.

"Liss this is Cole, Cole this is Liss " I told them

"Cole is Owens friend" I told her her face changed completely. She was not scared of them but you could tell she was not completely comfortable around them I mean, they had never even talked to anyone other then them selfs with only a few others.

I just had got off my bike when I see some jerk dragging this girl twards the building and her calling for him to stop but he didn't, everyone else acted like they saw nothing so I decided to see what was happening. They went around a corner I could here him yelling at her from where I was but I was still to far away to understand what it was.

I herd her scream so I picked up my pace, when I cane around the corner all I saw was him with his hand raised and her crying with a red mark across her cheek.

As soon as I saw what was going on I grabbed the boy by the collar of his shirt just as Cole my best friend came and walked away with the girl that way she didn't try to get in the middle of what I was gonna do as soon as they were gone I turned my attention back to the boy I had by the shirt.

"Did you hit her?" I asked him

"If I did what do you care" he said

At that statement I lost it I started punching him when someone started calling my name I looked up and saw Archer he was a cool kid and all but I didn't like the face that he stopped me. Alex the girl who Cole walked off with I saw her around but she never talked much unless it was to her friends or a 'hey' to some people in the hallway.

I looked up at Archer and he looked like he was about to ask me something but he knew better then to ask. Archer was also one of her twin brothers we were friends but that didn't stop me from hitting him in the gut when he tried to pull me off the kid who's name I learned was Jase.

I saw Cole trying to calm Alex down because I could tell she was still in pure shock of what just happened. I walked up to them and turned to her.

"Alex why did he hit you?" I asked her

She didn't say anything back for a good 2 minutes so I just walked away because I could tell she was not gonna talk at this point before I could stop what I was doing I through my fist into a locker making a dent in it. I turned and walked away to my first class still with a picture of how she looked so broken in my mind.
