Fake Friend

She starts off nice.

She comes to your house, and laughs about boys, and brings your family cookies.

She makes homemade costumes for you and her, maybe even a friendship necklace.

And then comes the time when you disagree.

She shuts you out, she's cold as ice.

Turns out she wasn't quite so nice.

Rejecting every apology.

Until she needs a drama to feed.

She takes you back, you praise the Lord.

You'd been begging for her by her door.

But this time things are different.

There's no more laughing or cookies.

Just painful slaps and yelling.

Instead of whispering about boys, she's screaming "You make too much noise!"

Or she's out with someone else.

Spreading secrets, rumors and much else.

You want to cut her off, but then
