This is just a poem I made a while back. It's a little dark I know, but I became a bit of an angsty teenager lol XD. OK here!
___________________________________Death rose to meet her like a ferris wheel seat rises to meet the top.
It smelled as sweet as pussywillows on a spring morning.
The stench of for bode uncertainty and dried blood clouds her nose.
The hairs rise on her arm and her sight is lost in the murky air in front of her.
She contemplates the last thoughts in her head as she feels the dirt beneath her.
She helplessly tries to push herself in the Earth, praying mother nature takes pity and swallows her in the bosom that is green. Why didn't she run or hide?
She takes in her breathing, sweet, slow, precious in its ability to be gone within seconds.
Why didn't she scream the loudest of screams?
She produces a smile as her blood flows over her body like a blanket, warming her as her body turns to ice.
Why didn't she fight?
Suddenly pressure relives itself and she feels as if she took in the longest drawn out breath possible, and yet doesn't remember opening her mouth.
She can't feel the dirt anymore or the blood that ironically began to give her comfort.
It feels as if she is floating, more so that she entered a pool.
The gratifying mist greets her cheek like a lovers kiss and her body temperature begins to rise rapidly.
She dared not open her eyes to the soothing music that played overhead, or the delightful smell of cherry blossoms that tickled her nose.
Death has came and passed and she knows from the deep riches of her soul for it to be true.
She gives herself the slight satisfaction of a peek at what was ahead...
Who knew Heaven wasn't as white as promised.
